Guy jumps out of airplane. Pulls his chute, nothing happens. Pulls his reserve, nothing happens. As he's plummeting he looks over to see a guy going skyward. "Hey, do you know anything about parachutes?" Guy says, "No. Do you know anything about gas barbeques?"

What I don't understand about not having a post-landing checkout... what if someone is injured on landing? Someone just swings from a tree with a broken leg and starves?
