No.

The average video play time is 11 minutes, but how many of those views actually watched the whole video? I would be willing to bet that most views came nowhere near that amount of time.
Most views were either scanning the video to see if it looked interesting enough to watch all the way through, or just jumping to the parts that appealed the most.

I suspect that most 'high volume' porn consumers probably average less than 5 minutes per video, no matter the actual play time of said video.

This.  Who just watches the first clip that pops up?  The majority of the time was most likely spent figuring out which vid brought the most fapping pleasure.

5 minutes? That's an eternity. I open a few videos in multiple tabs and flip back in forth to find the good bits. My porn ADD wouldn't let me watch one video for five minutes straight.

i dont watch the entire video, just enough to finish.

soo..... about 4 mins on a good day.

Yep, closer to 13. Not 13,000. Just plain old 13. Step it up people.

They will carbon tax penises one day.

Let's be honest here, that's 15k views for the average guy, but closer to 20k views for the average Farker.

93 billion views, 30 fps...98 years worth of viewing?

Sounds like a challenge.

Egads! I think you are on to something. That pumping action could be used to generate power. Porn could be the new green energy getting government subsidies. Next time California has rolling brown outs you'll get a phone sex call to help make up the power difference.

2012-12-19 11:49:34 AM
1.2 million ÷ 93 billion = 46 milliseconds per page view.

I wish I lasted that long.

And then there's folks like this whiny biatch in Olde Blimey who wants to "ban porn" from the intarwebs.

The very thought is astonishing. It's like "ban sunlight, as it causes skin cancer".

/Not that I have any personal investment, stuck out in SE Asia.
//Still sore I never got involved in the industry back in the Golden 1970s. Could have made some serious wampum.

People actually watch those all the way through?

I did not know we were supposed to do that. Is that the internet equivalent of cuddling after sex?

Please, a lot of people just open up about 50 tabs and sift through what looks good. A few people probably just download the vids using VideoDownload Helper or something similar, then never actually watch the ones on their hard drives as they go and download more

Same ole, same ole.

BTW, THIS is a VISUAL Media.
Whar example for perusal? I will decide what is pornographic, but only after viewing.

Frankly, I fail to see how any money is made in the porn industry anymore. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to ever pay for it.

Hey, someone out there is doing that job now as we speak.
I'll bet that after a few weeks, it would be "just a job"

There's what.... 8-9 ads per page on those things? And untold numbers of LiveJasmine.com popups. With 93 billion views? That's a lot of ad revenue.

I'm glad I'm not alone in having this experience from childhood. Scrambled skinemax too. Kids these days have it too easy.

If only we could harness the jacking power, we could light up every city in America with nothing more than that day's porn consumption.

Somebody get on this. You know, in between the times you spend yanking it.
