Looks like copyright infringement. We can still discuss what it might be like if a hypothetical black cat was guarding a hypothetical crosswalk.

That video has transformed my life. It was everything I expected from a black cat helping at a crosswalk.

If he had been in CT those shootings never would have happened.

If everyone was armed with a safety patrol black cat we'd be able to sleep a bit safer.

/ignore me...I'm in a mood today.

That cat is a lazy piece of crap and he isn't taking his job very seriously. I demand that he be fired immediatly.

This is what happens when we take black cats out of our schools.

That's funny, I live in the next town over. Never thought a crosswalk-guarding cat from nearby would make the front page of Fark. *laughs*

I had a cat like that. I'd go to work and she'd walk next door to the large apartment building and sit in front of their door all day. She loved the attention and the people in the building enjoyed it because it was a "no pets" building.

15 years old? Well duh, it's a retired black cat. Picking up some extra grocery money working the crossing guard gig.

It's either that or get a door greeter job at Wally-Mart.

You have a point but it would need to be a semi-automatic cat, at least. With plenty of extra "clips", were it an M-1 Tabby.

Awww, kitty! I had a cat once who would follow me to the bus stop every morning when I went to work, and I would have to pick him up and put him back in the house otherwise he would keep following me. And I have a cat now that steals pieces of paper from the garbage, brings them to you and waits until you make a paper ball and throw it down the hall, then he will run after it and bring it back to you so you can throw it again, and again, and again. And my sister's cat could open the latch to our front screen door by smacking it over and over with her paw. Cats is funny creatures!

For all the politics, gun talk, murder, death, kill over the past few days, this story was a welcomed break.

Heh cute black kitty video, though I'm more partial to the Corgi Reindeer Sleigh (wagon) link on that page.

My heart belongs to the stubby ones.

My cat is also named Sable, black female, also 15. But she doesn't like kids too much. She's the old biddy who yells at people for crossing the lawn.

The crosswalk guard will kill and then plaster the cat into his wall in order to keep his job, he was planning to kill his wife too but she had gone missing. The police came to ask questions about the whereabouts of the cat, and they were just about to leave as he heard a wailing from the wall, "Phillip, you no good, fat fark. Get me out of here!" The police tear down the wall, seeing the wailing wife inside, standing on top of the cat's head. Phillip says, "I have walled the monster up within the tomb!"

In Russia, you cross a black cat's path.

My friend Red's cat Heathcliff lived to be 21. You never know...

It's good to hear some pleasant news after the last few days.

/so depressed over everything that's happened since last Friday.

There is an orange cat who lives next door to me. He looks mean, he is a big guy with parts of his ears missing, obviously a scrapper. Whenever I walk by, he will throw himself on the sidewalk and refuse to let me pass until I pet him. Most of the time he guards the end of the driveway, looking like a sphinx.

On the other side of me is a big asshole of a German Shepherd, who has a bark so loud that I can hear it while in the shower. I loathe that dog with every fibre of my being.

One afternoon, a neighbour was walking his dog past the neighbour who owns the Shepherd. The Shepherd owner is a frail lady, and the Shepherd bolted right for the other dog, easily ripping the leash out of the owner's hand, knocking her face first in the driveway in the process. It started attacking the other neighbour's dog.

Orange cat next door saw this happening and streaked across my lawn in an orange blur. Two seconds later, it was clawing the hell out of the Shepherd's face. I don't think I have ever laughed that hard. Go, kitty! Man, I hate that dog.

Last year, I adopted a cat that was abused by her previous owner, who threw her out of a 4 story window.

Now she follows my dog and me every time we go on a walk.

So, if they've had zero gun incidents at that school while this cat has been on duty... OMG! Somebody tell Fox news there is an end to the national nightmare.

My cat Sketchy is a guard cat. I suspect he's just a very tiny dog from the way he acts. He has his patrol route, and he watches the street and makes threatening noises at children.

//My wife is currently ill, and he's standing watch over the bed.
///It would be cute if it weren't terrifying. I think he blames me for her flu.
