Looks kind of staged... but nice headline, subby.

Egh, they're performers. Stages are part of the deal.

/ Cute. The kid has a good voice, and I'd forgotten just how fine Stevie Wonder sounds on a decent piano.

Yeah, watching it again, it does seem staged. Cute though. And the kid's voice does seem to improve with Stevie on the piano, then again before he came in, the kid and the other pianist seemed to be phoning it in.

I thought it was all staged, too.... then the kid did the shocked monkey-head-scratch thing and looked like he was going to cry (plus when Wonder asked if he could play for him... the pause was starting to make me believe the kid was going to say, 'WOW, you play piano, too!?!' lol) and have to think it may have been staged in advance, but the kid wasn't in on it...

This is my thought ...

Also, if he came into a room and wanted to accompany me, I would need a new pair of pants. There are few musicians that I can say that about.

/bass player, not a singer.

Geez, clearly it pays to hire top guys for your studio sessions.

Gotta agree. Set up for the kids benefit. You can see how floored he is to be meeting Stevie Wonder.

Nice video

Meh. Staged is staged. Viral ad for the kid, I assume.

The skill difference between him and the younger pianist is striking. He took a simple melody and added all the emotionality it was missing.

The man can handle those ivories.

Maybe he was expecting Peter Gabriel.
