Did he recently fail to board a plane that crashed?

images4.wikia.nocookie.net

after being found unconscious with a lanyard around his neck, stuck in the door of a washroom stall

Were his pants on?

Since the incident, a crisis response team consisting of professionally trained psychologists has been on site

Oh for f*ck's sake. Is someone really going to be traumatized by hearing about this non-fatality?

They're going to put our right to bear arms up on top of the fridge, and once we've shown we're mature enough to deserve that right we'll get it back. But for now we're grounded for a week, no dessert, no TV and no computer time.

"Rocky View Schools officials are figuring out how their schools will handle a new ban on lanyard use implemented after a student at Bearspaw School nearly strangled to death on one last week."

Not Bear Arms. Bear's Paw.

Interesting that they name schools in Alberta after types of cookies.

It was an Assault Lanyard, clearly.

More seriously, I'm still wondering how in the crap he managed to nearly choke himself to death with it. Was it self-inflicted? The story doesn't say.

Many moons ago my school rules stated you had to wear your pass and locker key on a lanyard or string around your neck, but banned chains and necklaces as being dangerous. I was sent to detention for using a keychain attached to my belt for them, the next day was a sheer delight watching my dad call the head master a complete moron and tear shreds off him

Yes, it's black assault string. It's evil.
What does anyone NEED that kind of string for anyway? It's only used to kill and serves no other purpose.

We must limit all string to less than 10 thread count and no longer than 6" per individual piece. Oh and make it illegal to tie it together. (you guys thought you were going to slip that one past didn't you....)

Thank you Canada for setting a shining example for the rest of the world. I look forward to Obummer apologizing to you in the near future for everything we have done wrong.

It's so nice to accept the fact that Americans have become spineless jellyfish, now we can let the healing begin.

You mean all the various senators and governers calling for renewed 'assualt' weapons bans? Well thats where the action is now. They are rallying support for their objective. You won't see actual action until you wake up one day and find new retarded laws passed by people who have no understand of what exactly they are banning

Also, you forgot Monsantos, Big Pharmas, Forced Frackings and Corporate Welfares.
