Abe Vigoda's Ghost: I expect this thread to contain a rational discussion on climate change.

I expect you to be disappointed :-)

Slam1263: Yeah Nukes!!

Not just for turning our enemys into vapor anymore.

The whole Church of AGW must be agog, much like those other zealots that predicted a Rapture not yet to be.

Gee, what happens when you predict global devistation, and it doesn't occur? Beside smelling scorched careers.

Here we are, with well over 100 years of fuel left, now is the time for rational planning. But lets leave the governmet out of the loop, they'd screw it up.

Anyone care to flow-chart how any one of these individual statements corresponds to any of the others? I'm getting whiffs of Time-Cube off of this post.

Oh, wow.

Some other surely brilliant pieces from wunderkind Lewis Page just since the start of November:

New science upsets calculations on sea level rise, climate change
AARGH! We're ALL DOOMED, bellows UN - right on schedule
Climate NON-change: No increase in droughts since 1950, say boffins
Steady Antarctic ice growth 'limits confidence in climate predictions'
Swedish boffins: An ICE AGE is coming, only CO2 can save us

Yea. This guy doesn't seem to have any sort of agenda that would throw the credibility of his work into question...

Nice! I'm finally going to be able to burn down that new stretch of forest so I can plant some more cash crops for a few years till the soil depletes.

FishyFred: 1998! 1998!

Those four numbers cause my bullshiat alarm to ring in climate threads.

Whatever. This data point is just a data point like all the other data points on the graph and we all know trends, not a data point, are what's meaningful.

/ ow... the human brain isn't meant to twist that way...
