He's well on his way to earning us back some of those draft picks.

He's going to do a wonderfully mediocre job of leading the KC Chiefs to an 8-8 record in a few seasons...

Pretty sure Cleveland's new ownership got a first hand look at their starting QB in 2 years.

RGIII is obviously a complete hack who deserves to be benched for the remainder of his career.

No offense, but a three-way tie for first in a four team division isn't much. I'm sure it would be heavenly for some Eagles fans right now, but either way.

Looks like he figured out Step #2.

We have a Redskins link, also from the Washington Post, two links down. Is all this really necessary for a team that's not going anywhere in the postseason this year even if they do get there?

Really? He passed for more than Brady or Brees or Rodgers? Oh, wait, team high. Well, that's like tallest midget when he's replacing someone who isn't know for their passing prowess

The only reason the QB who's second in QB rating, nearly perfect against a blitz, best yards per completion, and I'm pretty sure has the best deep ball % in the league isn't known for his passing prowess or racking up inflated yardage totals cause of those silly little distracting 72 yard TD runs.

Tied record-wise, but leading in the tie-breakers. If they win out, they're the champs. As long as the Eagles don't get uppity this week and the Cowboys can get past the Saints, it's Redskins / Cowboys with a playoff spot on the line to closeout the season.

/And Eli & Company left wondering wtf happened

Charley Casserly says Jets, Bills, Cards and KC. I think I'd rather keep him at least one more year as backup QB though; we have another 18 million cap hit coming next year (thanks, John Mara) so no point in paying above rookie scale, and there's still some concerns on RG's durability.

Of course. But you don't get passer awards for your running accomplishments. That's just how the NFL works.

Considering you chopped off all the points about the phenomenonal accomplishments for a rookie passer and left in the part about his running ability I'm pretty sure you just proved my point.

Thank you.

Arizona's so lousy they just destroyed Detroit. Good job quitting on the season, Arizona! Meanwhile, ONLY TEAM IN THE SUPER BOWL ERA TO POST CONSECUTIVE FIFTYBURGERS. There have been a lot of sh*tty teams and a lot of good teams have had the opportunity to play a couple consecutively, and the Seahawks are the only one to have done it.

UNC_Samurai: remember when the Cardinals were 4-0?

Other fun fact: the Patriots are 0-2 at home against NFC West QBs who began the season as backups. (also, both last names begin with K)

HaHA, I tried to talk about it with my wife last night, and all she could do was biatch that Wilson ran in too many touchdowns and should have handed those off to Marshawn. Yes, she has Marshawn on her FFB team. Yes, she is destroying me in our league.

As someone with Wilson on one of his teams and my opponent had Wilson on his bench in the other...no. That was perfect.

/had Kaepernick in the other league
//but opponent had Crabtree (it's a PPR league) so he outscored me. THROW IT TO ANYONE BUT CRABTREE

AFC East? Only one "good" team in there. Same with AFC West.

Also, I'm happy for Cousins. He did a great job as a player and a leader at MSU. That team had a cliff dive in offensive production without him. Of course there were other weapons that were drafted too, but he had a clear impact.

I pegged Pittsburgh for being 8-8 immediately after the Denver game. They're doing a great job of meeting expectations.

They're no different now than they were to start the season. Blowing games to Oakland and Tennessee then and blowing games to Cleveland and San Diego now.

Seems to me they're the same exact team only three months older! :)

I'd say the West is much worse than the East. At least the Jets and Dolphins are still not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, and still manage to win some games despite themselves. The West minus Denver can't usually even manage to do that.

Did we really need 2 Redskins threads? I mean really?

Oh well, I'll post what I posted before: Cousins is the 3rd best rookie QB behind RG3 and Wilson, and Luck, while a solid rookie, is on a lower rung. Luck's numbers betray that they have won largely despite him, and his comebacks are often necessary because his mistakes put them in the corner in the first place.

Man did I f*ck up this week. I benched Stafford for Wilson - good. I benched Ryan for Freeman since Freeman was playing the vaunted New Orleans Saints Defense. So yeah...losing by 27 when Ryan was +23.5 and Freeman was -4.02. Do some math...I'd be ahead by a half point if I wasn't stupid.

I would have done the same thing. The only mistake I made this week was putting Heywood bay in for Stevie Johnson. I feared the seahawks defense, so that was a swing of 20 some points. Wouldn't have mattered because the guy I went against score 200 GODDAMN POINTS IN A CONVENTIONAL PPR LEAGUE
