I really dislike Lil Wayne. Not in a "I hate rap music" sort of way but in a "I like rap music" sort of way.

He's like a virus, in that he collaborates with everyone and no album is safe from him.

How do retards get in this position anyway? Rich or poor, at one time you made enough money to warrant the IRS wanting a cut.. So.. Why do people opt to not pay them? Has there ever been a time when someone did this and got away with it and got free blowjobs from the IRS?

What about the other "Lil'"s? Are they OK?

(Lil' Jon, Lil' Scrappy, etc,....)

Th crazy thing is how much money one had to have made in order to owe that much. Yet they'll still complain that the govt is taking 'it all'.

That's right. If you don't like the shiattiest rapper since Biz Markie, you're an idiot.

I think he may have been more referring to the fact that L'il Wayne has made, and will continue to make vast sums of money, at least for the near future. While he may slide into mainstream obscurity, he will not be obscure within the music industry. He will probably not go bankrupt anytime soon, either. I'm sure he has an army of accountants and financial advisers. Provided they're worth their salt, he'll be just fine, monetarily. He may seem like an idiot, but my guess is that to stay as relevant as he has and to acquire the wealth he has, he's a pretty savvy business man. I wouldn't say he's Jay-Z, P-Diddy levels of business savvy, but he's not far from it.

It's okay to dislike Little Wayne, he sucks. In a sea of shiatty rappers, Little Wayne is the fecal lighthouse by which they find their way. Mainstream rap has really sucked the past decade.

Also, good headline, subby, you and 2nd poster got me chuckling good this morning.

Here are some good rappers, most of whom don't talk about shooting people or wearing jewelry.

Binary Star
People Under The Stairs
Copywrite
Sandpeople

Also here's a couple really good instrumentals that've been kicking around in the cypher.

Grieves - Bloody Poetry
Pete Rock - Love Thing
J Rawls - Infancy

/Someone start submitting some news about underground rappers

Anyone else heard that cringe-inducing Public Service Announcment Lil' Wayne does? The one where he don't follow no cliche, and is sooooo not stereotypical? "cause this is how we do.

Bro, you're a cliche. You're stereotypical. And being so makes you a lot of money. No shame in that. Why are you trying to hide it?
