It's official: the news media is MAKING SH*T UP WHOLESALE.

Since social media trends tend to be a bit stupid, one can take a single series of pictures at a single event and post from multiple sockpuppet accounts to make a single event look like the new sensation.

I totally mistook that to mean posting pics from your summer vacation now. Which I totally do all the time, because it just makes me feel better about shiatty winter weather.
