Hopefully I'm in before everyone who says the Office should have ended after Season 3. I certainly concede that last year was a real stinker with a handful of good episodes (notably the Tallahassee arc) but this year has really stepped up. I'm glad that it didn't end down in the doldrums of season 8 and that it gets a chance to go out on a higher note.

The Office (the real one,the British version) should have ended in pre-production. The table reads were phenomenal, but it's all been downhill since the first dress rehearsal.

The character of Dwight can not carry a series but I would like him to show up on other shows from time to time. Do a 3-4 episode arc involving Dwight then move on.

I actually thought the last season wasn't bad, but still Meh, up until the Tallahasee arc. I hated pretty much everything about that arc.

but otherwise I do think this season has been a major improvement; especially since Andy has been MIA for the past few episodes.

I loved the show from seasons 2-4, but pretty much everything since the wedding has been a long slog towards TV hell.

Glad it's finally wrapping up now. I'm actually interested to see the "documentary" element finally pay off.

I have been enjoying this season better than last season. I hope Andy returns with a woman he met in the Bahamas and that they are either married or engaged. Mostly because I am hoping for the Erin/other guy thing to happen.

I am also hoping that Jim's business takes off with Daryl and leaves by mooning Andy and telling him to fark off. Toby works to release the Scranton Strangler thinking he sent an innocent man to jail only to realize it was the right guy and he kills again (Nellie). The series ends with the camera crews showing everyone the footage and Creed burns down the office explaining that he actually owns a rival company and he was only there to help Dunder/Mifflin fail.

I'm just glad that this season has improved so much over the last couple.

I'm curious to see what they do with the Scranton Strangler thing. I was fine with that just being a one-time thing when Toby had jury duty, but the show really seems interested in bringing it to the forefront this season. My money is on Ryan or Gabe being the guilty party.

that would be much more interesting than the on/off status the Erin/Andy thing currently is. I've never really cared about that relationship as it always felt forced and a way of the writers admitting that they didn't really know how to extend Jim/Pam... but they introduced arbitrary drama into Erin/Andy's relationship because they also didn't know what the hell to do with that relationship. Though I've also never really liked Erin (though she's much improved this season!) and I've never thought Andy was interesting enough to be a main-focus character.

Andy was great back when he was punching walls. Unfortunately, his character has probably been more inconsistent than anybody else on the show. And last season had Erin dangerously close to being functionally retarded.

yeah, I liked him when he was a background character a la Stanley, but he's been annoying since being moved to a main character. Couple him with Erin, who up until this season was really annoying, and it was pretty much unbearable. I like Erin this season, but they've seemingly made the ill-advised move to make Andy a much more assholish Michael Scott.

I just want the chick who plays Erin to take her top off.

I think it should end where you find out that Creed is actually God and he's been preparing them for the end of the world to battle the minions of Satan.

It should end with 2-3 episodes of them building a giant stage and then in the last episode Mitt Romney gets on the stage and tells them they're all fired.

you are a puppet: It should end with 2-3 episodes of them building a giant stage and then in the last episode Mitt Romney gets on the stage and tells them they're all fired.

it would be great if they did all that and they pooled $500 each between them so they could give him like $10,000 to show up -- and the place would be f*cking empty after movers/rental had already moved out all the office furniture and everything else and they send him to an empty office building -- just to prove he just chases the money

I've been watching a lot of reruns recently and noticed that many times Michael mentions he wants kids. I'm predicting he and Holly show up with a baby or something.
