If you like the Rumours album, you've got to hear the surround-sound mix that was released a few years ago. It's one of my "demo discs."

Party at my house!

Yawn.

Saw them on the previous tour - first one with Buckingham/Nicks.

They were the warm-up for Ten Years After.

What did I learn? FM was still a good band and Stevie Nicks is short and has a HUGE ass.

Wikipedia says Rumours was released in February 1977, which means it will be 36 years old next year, not 35.

// yeah, I remember hearing there would be no math here

I played the hell out of that album when it came out.

Now I can't stand it...

Rumours and "Fleetwood Mac" and "bare trees" are great albums.

"Tusk" and "Mirage" ? Not so much.

/although "Sara" is an amazing song.

I appreciate Tusk for what it was - the ultimate self-indulgent rock album to mark the end of the era of self-indulgent rock albums.

It was also the last time Peter Green appeared with the band.

Now I'm confused. Tusk was the follow up to Rumours, and Green was well out of the picture by then.

Rumours got played to DEATH on the radio. It took many, many years before I could bring myself to listen to it again. It was every bit as good as its reputation, just way overexposed.

Apparently Peter Greens plays a bit of guitar on the song "Brown Eyes".

True, that's the only good song on "Mirage". And it's basically a "Sara" re-write.

Nope, I dated a disc jockey. I've heard it all. Still hate them.
