More importantly, it's also the second FCS semifinal today.

Who will meet up with North Dakota State (who sucked all game but somehow managed to beat Georgia Southern) in Frisco, TX?

/go Eagles!
//no trifecta of Big Sky co-champs for you, Sam Houston State (I hope)
///what sucks is everyone's talking about the snow being good with the opponent being from Texas...but we're a passing team and they're a running team. Think it's bad for us.

AND.... we have a real National Championship game decided by a real playoff.

/yeah, it's Div II, but it's not an opinion poll deciding the champion

This is the best time of the year for real college football fans.

Enjoy the games, everyone!

I think Utah State will win big tonight.

Was just flipping through and caught a great long option run buy the USU QB, but on the ensuing kickoff I discovered that two blue-clad teams on blue turf is... not good for the eyes.

What a great idea! There are how many Div 1 teams? 124? Take #'s 123 & 124 and call it the "Somebody Has Got To Win American Standard Toilet Bowl"

2012-12-15 05:24:19 PM
That's what I get for turning off the game. Wayta totally shiat the bed, Nevada.

Today is all about turf colors. The Potato Bowl is at Boise State and their blue turf and on ESPNU Eastern Washington has a bright red turf field.

It is football people. You can botch all you want. BUT I FREAKING LOVE IT! Two colleges that would potentially never meet in the regular season can meet up iussually in a non typical site and can be entertaining. Without the NHL, all I have are bowl games, college basketball and some pro games.

That New Mexico Bowl was actually entertaining as hell

2012-12-15 05:36:18 PM

Sorry. On an iPad for the first time for spelling. Your choices: watch bowl games and be happy or don't watch bowl games and be happy. Either way, don't biatch about games before a certain date.

Dammit if we didn't wait until the second half and until we were down 35-0, we might've actually won.

/lost 45-42
//at least the best WR in FCS got the yardage record

That Utah State-Toledo finish was rather amusing in the final 7 minutes. Low scoring until then.

None of the teams playing today would be anywhere near a sane playoff system so why do you care if their fans get to enjoy an additional game?
