I watched part of it. Maybe I'm made of stone or something, but that didn't affect me much, for three reasons: Devoid of context, each scene doesn't mean a whole lot. The music they played made it corny as hell. And seeing Ricky Schroder crying only made me giggle.

Not the usual kind of video I typically need a tissue for

This and THAT.

I couldn't sit through it. Also, if it didn't have the scene where Spock died from TWoK, it can screw itself with a Ceti Eel.

I'll always remember when Gandalf wasn't in a few scenes.

I'm not falling for that subby, I remember the last time one of these threads showed up so I might as well get it started:

No, but at least Bambi was included.

I think I'd prefer a slideshow to a movie. It's gotta be faster now that I've mastered clicking a mouse.

Um, don't ever try to watch The Bicycle Thief, Sansho the Bailiff, Iruku or The Burmese Harp.

Not impactful without context, and the music was awful.

Awful choice for Toy Story 3, should be the either the incinerator or, in my opinion, when Boo reaches for Woody and Andy flinches.

Removing the vocals and low background music for The Iron Giant left it hollow.

Poor editing and sound, just leave all the originals in and it would be better than noncontextual music.

Yep, that's in there, and is the exact point where I lost it. That shiat is messed up.

I must admit, I had a little bit of trouble fapping to that.

Or the Amritsar massacre scene from Gandhi, an actual historical event.

When they showed that in theaters, the screen went dark just after the 5:04 mark in this clip and they had a short intermission, instead of the quick cut you see here. No music, just silence or a few sounds from the other moviegoers, and you'd sit and try to come to terms with what you just saw.

The Schindler scene they missed is the scene where he leaves which turns me to blubber every time.

Up breaks me each and every time.

It's doubly so when you read this news story connected to it, the one about Pixar granting a dying girl's wish.

I would respectfully disagree on one count. Ikiru, while sad at points, isn't heartbreaking. It's ultimately uplifting.

The Bicycle Thief is a long drawn-out kick in the ass, though. Oy.

Got the video to run, finally. Looked like "Marley and Me" was in there, too.

Was also surprised they left out Bicycle Thief.  I still can't bring myself to watch Umberto D. based on what I've heard and seen of it.

Good call on Umberto D. Sad tale. So many great movies that will crush you emotionally.

How was King Aragorn kneeling to the hobbits "heartbreaking?" If they were going to pick a moment from that movie, why not when Frodo leaves his friends forever?

Some of these seemed to be picked just because they were merely sad.

I always thought this scene had a lot of pathos, the whole movie actually.

Going one-two with Iron Giant and following it with that broke my resistance. Had to quit watching, need to have a productive day.

I was holding it pretty good, even after the Iron Giant. Then they threw in Artax.

Farkers.

No Steel Magnolias. The film gets so much better after Julia Roberts dies.
/Doesn't appreciate Julia Roberts

Eh, not his best work.

One scene that I can't stand is the scene in I Am Legend where Will Smith puts down his dog. Terrible movie overall, but I don't like that scene.
