Scores up. Just three perfect scores - I had forgotten I altered QPR to a draw. Insured it anyhow.

2012-12-15 12:37:09 PM
Also looks like we had robo-predictions for the bottom 5.

2012-12-15 12:39:05 PM
The computer put in a 1-1 draw for Newcastle vs City, same as they put for West Brom vs Sunderland the last time. Looks like that's what they always put. I'm on +20 with 2 perfects and 4 incorrect. Still have my insurance and banker to go.

Stimied in a Rut: Anyone have a replay of the Fellani infractions?

no, but i saw it, and it was brutal. he squarely nails him right in the mug. was an obvious straight red, if it had been caught. if you can catch a replay, it's right around the hour mark, or a smidge before.

That's a pretty obvious red. He'll be out for a match or 3.

/Everton's next 3: @ West Ham, vs Wigan and vs Chelsea

Unless he apologises immediately it could be a five matcher for violent conduct.

desertgeek: How farked up is the EPL this year? As things stand right now, Norwich will be 1 point out of the top 5 and a spot in Europe despite having a -6 goal difference.

If you take out those two five goal drubbings at the start of the season by Fulham and 'pool the GD looks much better. But he who laughs last laughs best

Sunderland are shiat. Really shiat.

Cleverley and Carrick are good. They work well together. I was slightly scared when Scholes and Giggs were playing.

I had a rare good day in FFPL.

Mame Diouf has scored 20 goals in 32 games for Hannover. (They lost today, but that's incidental).

2012-12-15 01:51:21 PM
West Brom: 6th. One point from a CL spot.

Norwich: 7th. Two points from a CL spot.

I tipped both to finish in the bottom two.

Good point. Forgot about that. The 4th match would be @ Newcastle and then comes the FA Cup 3rd round (@ League Two's Cheltenham Town).

Direct quote from David Moyes about the Fellaini headbut

"He deserves to get the punishment, I've seen it, it's a terrible thing to do and I expect him to be punished. It's down to the FA.
I've told him it's not acceptable and whatever he gets, he and us deserve it.

Moyes has more class in his little finger than a number oh PL Managers

It's a classy stance to take. Shawcross may be an asshole and deserve it, but that doesn't justify the headbutt.

2012-12-15 05:04:56 PM
David Moyes has always been my favorite manager and he shows time and again why. He stays with Everton and always gets them to finish higher than expectations and does so much on so little money. Every year a few of his best players are poached or have to go back on loan and they continue to do well. He is respected by everyone, has an insane amount of class and has never been part of any drama.

Fulham is currently shiat.

2012-12-15 06:15:06 PM
Ever since Wee Gordon Strachan got relegated with Coventry City, Motes has been my favorite EPL manager. He just seems to get it. And this is coming from someone who considers Liverpool his EPL team.

/Though they're no MIGHTY Oxford United

So I was feeling good checking my predicts completely wasted, safe in the knowledge I'd forgotten to post them when....I realised I actually had. Again.

Damn you, midweek random reminder email. And Newcastle and Liverpool are dead to me. Dead. Hellooo Norwich and QPR. Maybe.

Hope Ars can get the win on monday.

This sucks. I'm not feeling any of this. ;.;

Chelsea currently 0-0 in the WCC as the second half has just started

Corinthians go 1-0 up.

Plus Corinthians look like a much more skilful Stoke

That Torres chance 5 mins from the end was verging on embarrassing.

Full Time, and Corinthians are your 2012 CWC Champions.
Last time Rafa was in a CWC final, he won it and was fired the next day. Maybe he figured if he lost this one, he gets to keep his job?

Marouane Fellaini has apologised for the headbut.

I apologise completely to Ryan Shawcross, my team-mates and to our fans at the game. I lost my temper and it was unprofessional,
There was a lot of pushing and pulling going on inside the Stoke penalty area and I didn't feel I was getting any protection from the officials.
Nevertheless I know I shouldn't have done what I did. I have also apologised to the manager and the staff - I have no excuses.
I was disappointed with the way I was being treated and I lost my temper, which was unprofessional of me.

If only a number of teams (alot of who play in red) had this much class when it comes to owning up to mistakes.

I haven't gotten my reminder email for the past two weeks come to think of it. I usually do my picks Thursday or Friday after reading some prediction article's to get a better idea of some teams I don't follow so close.

I've always like how literal Swansea's logo is. But I'm a Spurs fan, so COYS!

Swansea's keeper nearly took a rifle shot to the face, there.

Where the hell was this organization and focus last week, Swansea? I put my banker on you to handle Norwich easily and that's the week you decided to choke.

I have 3-2 so I knew that wasn't going to happen a long time ago. Now I just have my fingers crossed for goal difference...

Ill take it..the banker chip will definitely help me out.

If WBA West Ham can end 2-1 it'll be a good day.

Tottenham fans: thoughts on AVB so far? A bit mixed? Willing to give him time to build something? Happy he's taking the Europa seriously? 4th is surely achievable. Maybe 3rd ;-)

Two Wests this afternoon.

I can think of one FC that is an East, at least one that is a North, but NONE that are a South.

I mean as in distinguishing it from main X - if it were South Hampton near North Hampton I'd accept it [Northampton is 95 miles from Southampton. I'm sure there is a German team that would qualify but I can't bring the name to mind

I'm tempted to nominate as Worst Game of Season.

Have it down as a 1-1 draw - Spuds gave me another 15pts.

Wiggins the bookies favourite.

I'm going with Mo. Ennis 2nd. Wildcard - they split the prize this year.

Its a wide open field of excellence (as opposed to the normal mediocrity). Any other year getting the US Open would make Murray automatically get it. This year he will be lucky to get into the top half of contenders

I recon Wiggins will get it with Mo and Ennis for a 2-3. Team GB will get the team award over Paralympics GB, the England Cricket team and Chelsea

2nd half has been much better for the battle of the wests.
