Cool list, but is Buzzfeed gonna send Drew a fruit basket some time? This is like the 10th greenlight in a couple days.

This is the one that got me. I remember Katrina vividly, and all the chaos surrounding her.

Americans are weird. We're simultaneously assholes and angels. Some girl in an airport bar gave me a $100 bill despite my protests. At the time my job was flooded and my entire life was upside down. There was only so much in my checking account so I took it.

People can be good if you give them the chance.

We concentrate almost entirely on our darker nature. The world is still a good place.

I'm not kidding - the world is fundamentally decent at heart. It just doesn't seem that way sometimes. I'm the most cynical prick you could meet, but I'm telling you that the world has love in it.

I won't go on believing otherwise. I can't. I won't.

There was this weird neighbor who put out a cardboard sign with marker writing that said "FREE MEDICAL CARE... all ladies welcome". All he got was 2 years of probation. :/

Did they really have to choose such a number? Couldn't it have been 40 or something?

Thanks, I needed this. I am so happy I read this tab before 4chan.

Thanks for sharing. It's easy to get bogged down in the nasty and the insane when you're a news junky such as myself. It's good to see things like this all in one place. Didn't have to mentally sort through all the crazy crap to get to it. Cool.

Can we stop this dust bullshiat already?
It leads to crap like this:

I'm not sure about #10.

They gave her a gun?

And a cake that wasn't in Braille?

It only seems unbelievable because we're disgusted by most of the behavior we witness. Yeah, he could have sprung for a pro print job. Hell, even Comic Sans is better than this.

But if you've ever been in a serious disaster, you know how the little sh*t we take for granted is suddenly unavailable.

/I know you were just talking jive

The headline for #17 seems inaccurate. It wasn't the act of slapping with a pizza that saved the mom's life.

We rescued a St. Bernard from an abusive household in 1998. Cancer took her four years later, and at the very end, we held her until her heart stopped beating. She looked like that as she slipped away.

Yeah, me as well. There's no real way to articulate the relationship between a man and his dog. The dog loves you regardless, and all you have to do is curb his turds and give him fresh food and water. Vet once a year, and you'll always find a way to pay for it.

I've been more soulfully linked to dogs in my lifetime than women. Probably speaks ill of me, but it's the truth.

I can't count the number of times I've come home after a lousy day at work or just out amongst the world's population, slammed the door closed, and said, "The more people I meet, the more I love my dog."

As the great one once said, life is a series of dogs. You can measure the decades with memories of them. Of the thousands of people I've met, I can count on one hand those I would trust as much as any dog I've known.

My dog is the only "person" I trust. I wasn't born that way.....but I learned. And you don't un-learn it, either.

I know there's still decent people out there. I'm just shocked when I meet one now, is all.
