He gave $100,000 to a cancer on society, so he's still about $25,000 short of making up for that

Charlie Sheen has a stunt double? Why does he need that, it's not as if he cares about whether his body is abused, perhaps he's saving himself for all the hookers and blow.

Knowing what I know about American healthcare, this will buy the kid exactly 3.5 seconds of hospital care.

Did she text him a "thank you"? He gets kinda pissy if you don't.

Maybe he thought she was a really young drug dealer? $75,000 buys a lot of morphine...

That's a lot for a lap dance, even for Charlie.

As we reported, Charlie and his stunt double Eddie Braun donated a combined $100,000 to 10-year-old Jasmine Faulk -- the daughter of a Hermosa Beach police officer -- after they caught wind of the girl's dire situation from another cop. Charlie donated $75,000 and Eddie donated $25,000.

Cop: License and registration, please.
Sheen: Look, officer, I just need to get to a -
Cop: Are you aware that your trunk is full of cocaine?
Sheen: I'm a very rich man, you know.
Cop: Okay.
Sheen: And the last thing I need is to go to jail again.
Cop: No one needs that.
Sheen: So what do you need, so we can forget about this?
Cop: Well, my partner has a daughter with cancer...

So he's off blow now? Or has he just cut back?

His personal and professional life is pretty appalling, but this deserves no snark. Good on him for this.

Full Disclosure: I didn't read the article because TMZ is blocked at work, but if the headline can be believed, I say good on him. If the headline is misleading, then whatever.

Was this really necessary now that were stuck with ObamaCare? Nice gesture though... and I'll bet she thanked him.

Now that's just a tripe, knee-jerk dismissal - a partial truth at best and a blatant lie at worst..
The redness needs to be in the overall wallet region too.

Not to threadjack, but historically I've always been under my wife's insurance, because it was cheaper to be part of her policy rather than having my own (even when we were at the same company). Her company instituted a policy next year that if your spouse has the option to get insurance through their own employer and opt not to, a $100 service fee will be charged every month. When asked why, they responded due to costs of Obamacare.

I don't understand how this is legal, but apparently there are many companies instituting similar policies.

//Threadjack over.

Its not legal but there is a loophole. Pay the penalty which is far less then it would cost to follow the terms of obamacare.

He has a show on FX that pays him 700K per episode. He got bought out of his 2.5 men contract for 125 million, plus he certainly gets a ton in residuals. In addition to that he took less money per episode (yes, 700K per episode was a cut in pay!) to get a huge chunk of the backend syndication profits, and FX has ordered 100 total episodes in a pay or play deal so it will happen. He could never snort through all of that money.

Charlie Sheen does stupid shiat, he is not actually stupid. Or at least he's smart enough to have a very good agent and lawyer.

You take that back, he made up for that with his cameo in Loaded Weapon for his brother Emelio.
