jjorsett: SineSwiper: You mean like "bradass86"?Heh, Nerdo seems common, but not really. It's not in reference to anything, so nobody is really using it. If you really want a hacker name you can hide behind, use AcidBurn, ZeroCool, or any other handle from that terrible movie. Also, change your damn nick if you're going to something illegal.Even better, shut the hell up about it on IRC. This is like the Facebook morons who commit crimes, photograph/video them, then post them on their FB pages. You can keep the same NIC forever if you omit the part where you go online and brag about what you've done.
Olympic Trolling Judge: Odoriferous Queef: Um... you don't hack an IP. If you mean monitor IP addresses the 133t h4x0r skiddie can always route through a proxy.Oh, for the love of...
Glitchwerks: I've been doing this for years on various trolls I encounter. Even if they use a common user name, other details will usually give them away. For example, quotes in signatures, their interests, and so on.Sometimes they give away identifying details in past posts as well; searching their posting histories on websites will give that away.Sooner or later, you end up on their Facebook or MySpace page.
Odoriferous Queef: Um... you don't hack an IP. If you mean monitor IP addresses the 133t h4x0r skiddie can always route through a proxy.
Olympic Trolling Judge: But why are the feds using such crude methods anyway? Aren't they able to hack all IPs simultaneously for information?
BraveNewCheneyWorld: It's amusing how ddos'ers are labeled as hackers. They're script kiddies, and the reason they get caught is because they don't know shiat.
fang06554: /never realized how many 3 letter acronyms there are in networking.
