What happens if your elderly and easily annoyed? In fact, I'm annoyed right now - and seem to be in a constant state of annoyance.

It is my specific intent, in writing this post, to annoy, offend, demean, ridicule, degrade, belittle, disparage, and humiliate you, using this electronic means.
Another normal day on Fark?

Aren't most of those located outside the USA? Nice thought, though. If the robocalls are for a local politician, that could lead to an interesting test case.

so I'm guessing that there are no Farkers in WI now.

Wildcat Mountain State Park is nice if you're ever in the neighborhood. And the Kickapoo River is a nice canoe float, not to mention funny to say out loud.

I'm in New Jersey, I've got a real kickapoo river. It's called the Passaic River.

That would require more than ten people in Vernon County to have internet.

Westby's pretty cool. Ok maybe "interesting" is a better word. The creamery is a cooperative. The bank is a cooperative credit union. Westby is the kind of town that happens when an immigrant community practices rural socialism and builds a stable economy out of it. Decades later it's still pretty much the same. For better and worse. And then Viroqua is half old-timers and half hippies that never quit, who I suspect are just barely tolerated by the old-timers. So, naturally, Organic Valley's corporate HQ is right next door. And a billion Amish.

/you probably already know this; for others' information
//The whole of Vernon County and the Kickapoo Valley is like "Oh, neat!" ... "wait..." and then you back away slowly

They are mostly Norskies so that explains the socialist bend (and Westby's high school teams being called the Norskies, we scrimmaged them every August for football) as well as the fact it's hard to find a decent bite to eat since Norwegians are about as skilled in cooking as Frenchman is at fidelity.

/It's ok, I'm half Norskie.

This is what happens when immigrant food becomes traditional food. I'm looking at you, lutefisk and lefse. Well lefse's okay, but lutefisk should be regulated by the EPA. certainly not the FDA.
