Happy Hours: What is it with you people and phones? My Droid is going to be 3 years old soon and it still works. I can still use it to make phone calls. I can even access Fark with it.

I've seen a couple of nicer phones, mainly because they have bigger screens but hey - they lacked the keyboard that mine has and I like that feature.

And besides (in the words of Boris the Bullet Dodger) "Heavy is good. If it doesn't work you can hit him with it."

Lol. If your current phone is three years old then you have no idea what you are missing.

I have never heard of a dell fanboy, I can be a bit fanboyish with my ms stuff but...I still respect other forms/vendors of technology and their innovations

Ever seen someone ranting about how awesome Alienware is, even though you know it's a generic box with some flashy plastics? That's a Dell fanboy.

They exist, I've seen them... I know at least one is or was on Fark.

Heh. Had a co-worker who somehow persuaded our boss that she "needed" an Alienware laptop to do her job, because of "processing power" or "GPU" or something. It was a monstrous desktop-replacement sort of thing, and she was tiny. Always looked silly.

Another temp guy brings his own Alienware to work here occasionally. He's studying science and wants to get a Ph.D. and become a real scientist. Which... well... I haven't told him yet he needs to turn off Coast-to-Coast AM and drop the conspiracy theory shiat if he wants anyone to take him seriously.
