Now, I'm not one to judge and I certainly believe in domestic violence. However. I also believe that if you're not unconscious or a quadriplegic, you better be able to avoid being drowned in a dog dish.

This is so typical. How many times does a woman originally consent to being drowned, then regrets it afterward, and claims "attempted murder!" This is obviously not a real, live criminal case. They should just dismiss the whole thing. Maybe charge her for presenting her husband with what was obviously a sub-par bit of cooking.

Because it's physically impossible for one person--especially a larger, heavier person--to pin someone else to the ground, despite the pinned individual's best efforts to get back up.
