It kinda goes like this and seech:

ARTHUR: Where could we find this cave, O Tim?

TIM: Follow! But! follow only if ye be men of valor, for the entrance
to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man
yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of four fifty men lie strewn
about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or
your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty
big pointy teeth.

ARTHUR: What an eccentric performance.

/and OMG did you see her necklace all jacked up by her mic? Gawd what a novice, no Diane Sawyer she is with her wandering eye and what not.

You people are so quick to make fun when some Dunning-Kruger genius doesn't realize how dumb he is, but here we have an example of someone who realizes his limits - and you still make fun.

I love how this ALWAYS turns out to be a common animal like a wolf or a dog. I remember watching one of those monster shows where one lady claimed a "lizard monster" chewed up the front of her car, and she managed to get saliva samples to prove it. The DNA came back as a standard canine.

I'm sure this one is totes legit, though.

yes, if you dont do anything else in your investigation, don't call in a animal expert to identify the tracks as belonging to a wolf. Or a large feral dog.

bentleypm: Anyway, this is probably just coyotes or wild dogs.

Yep. Dogs are known to kill animals and not eat them. Had a neighbor lose 300 chickens to dogs. They killed all of them and didn't eat one of them. Others had several horses attacked by dogs. People seem to forget that their cute little pets will happily kill gophers, moles, squirrels and rabbits and not eat them.

exvaxman: OMFG. I never thought I would see Waddy in the news (i lived there for a few years on Buzzard's roost rd, just off of Hempridge Rd). And yes, there were weekly overflights looking for "hemp". Cool pilot. He stopped by once with some beer since I always waved and he thought that was "cool".

If you had posted this in BLISS, I'd have let it go. But no... you had to bring out the "OMFG" followed by a bunch of stuff some Grandma would write.

Yeah. I lived in a rural part of Kentucky most of my life, and people would constantly drive out there and drop off the dogs they didn't want anymore. And then of course they breed. There's no shortage of them.

"Neighbors say it lurks in the woods, and only comes out at night."

In the daytime it's hanging out in the Home Depot parking lot.

In a lot of places, you set out a halfway tame dog and some asshole will catch it, duct tape it's mouth shut, and train his dog with it.

Typical Southern behavior. Probably some farmer's inbred son - buttfarking and raping cattle.

It is definitely El Chupacabra. It attacked the goats. They really need to watch out for their dogs, though. Chupas will breed with dogs, and the offspring are nasty little monsters.

Good point. I bet there are no shortage of dogs in that area who have been trained to be aggressive. And lots of people let such dogs wander off their property.

This sound like a dog running loose. They'll often kill an animal and not eat it. I'd suggest investigators check to find out if the maimed animals had been sexually assaullted. If they haven't, it's a dog. If they have, it's one of the local hillbillies.

There is speculation of a cross between these two. And,yes, they are in Kentucky, whether Fish & Game believe so or not.

Actually it's quite logical. After all the coyote and the wolf *are* cousins and it *is* Kentucky....

It's Bat Boy. After failing to get the VP nod from Romney (yes, that was reported by WWN back in August), he's vacationing in Kentucky for the winter. Skiing, bourbon tours, visiting the creation museum, goat-sucking... inside sources say he's considering taking up residence in the Martin Ridge Cave System.(Mammoth Cave had too many tourists.)

In western ky, people are getting them on trail cameras. But since no one gives a damn about western ky, they won't acknowledge it.
