Is it loose like your mama?

OMFG. I never thought I would see Waddy in the news (i lived there for a few years on Buzzard's roost rd, just off of Hempridge Rd). And yes, there were weekly overflights looking for "hemp". Cool pilot. He stopped by once with some beer since I always waved and he thought that was "cool".

There's something in Kentucky that sucks worse than the Wildcats?

Even Fish & Game denies that there are mountain lions in Kentucky. They're wrong, though. Anyway, this is probably just coyotes or wild dogs.

Fake. There's only one print.

Or it's a creature that was sent down from these recent UFO sightings. He only has one foot.

He puts one foot down, then he attacks animals with long tendrils that have chakra's on the ends on them.

It sounds like it might be my 5 year old nephew.

If they find bits of his brother's hair in the wounds, let me know.

FTFA:

"It's not doing it to kill the animal to eat, these animals are just being mauled. That's where the mystery is at this point."

It's a big cat. Some redneck was probably keeping a pet tiger or other and it got loose.

First killer bees, now chupacabras come from south of the border. What's next?

Cuidado! Hay chupacabras!

Frank Edwards lives in the area. He says, "We've got trail cameras out, we've got traps out it's like it's smarter than we are."

I have rocks that are probably smarter than they are

It's probably Mitch McConnell prowling around out there.

"tain't no big foot or samsquatch or nothin like that."

It is good that you rule out the two most likely suspects right off the bat, get to the real threats like satan or the crumpus.

Your assuming that Mitch steps into the state more than twice a year...

I am hoping it is a crazed chimp attacking the local pets. Sounds kinda like the Travis incident to me.

That'll be some good eatin' for somebody.

2012-12-13 07:09:33 PM
Not that hard to figure out, sounds like a feral dog to me. Dogs don't kill to eat, they kill for the fun of it. We had one dig under out chicken pen one night years ago to kill all 57 chickens we had, not a single one was eaten, just killed and left. Same thing happened to our neighbor's goats, it jumped into their stall in the barn and mauled them to death for the sheer sport.

It was eventually apprehended with a high powered rifle after it came back to kill a bait chicken in our pen.

Could it be, I dunno, somebody's well-fed dog who keeps on getting out of the yard and mauls other animals for fun?

Coyote, someone's abandoned half-feral dog, maybe-just-maybe a coydog. They're relatively rare, but we get a few.

County judge-executives are the local version of other states' county commissioners. The Deputy is the assistant they send out to fill in for them, when they don't feel like leaving the office.

There is speculation of a cross between these two. And,yes, they are in Kentucky, whether Fish & Game believe so or not. It's definitely dog, of some sort. More likely domestic, gone wild, because they are use to humans and will raid farms instead of hunting.

There's no way to tell from the FA whether it's involved or not, but the print they show is from a wolf, or a canid of some sort, at any rate.
