Anyways, if Nirvana reunites with an Englishman, I would have preferred Bowie and a performance of The Man Who Sold the World.

/My favorite from Unplugged. Great album.

If Kurt Cobain wasn't there then Nirvana didn't reunite on stage.

Good thing "Paul McCartney" is used to replacing a dead bandmate.

and Krist is tied with Bobby Dall for "worst bassist ever" but even he did great last night.

Know how I can tell you don't play bass?

jasimo: I thought it was quite douchey of Chris Martin to crack about how if everyone donated the average age of the musicians they'd raise billions."

I'm sure there will be a few county fairs 25 years from now willing to let Chris Martin play

"Yeah, pal, we're old, but we've got huge fan bases and they asked us to perform for charity. Sorry if our decrepitude is cramping your hipster style."

I thought it was preety cool. Paul's guitar sound was solid. Anyone know what that guitar was? He held his own for a 70 year old guy. If I can still be half that cool and energitic when I'm that age I should be so lucky. We are so uick to knock all these older acts but the truth is, no matter how silly they look doing it, they are still doing it. Mick Jagger was running around the stage like a f'n maniac. Most people his age are broken & decrepit. Good for all those old f'ers. On a side note, why didnt someone tell Sprinsteen that people really like to hear the hits right off the bat.

I like the new song. It sound almost nothing like Nirvana, but it's a good example of the rare heavy Paul McCartney song.

That wasn't Nirvana any more than it was the Beatles. Cool collaboration, but not either band.

People who say this was bad are just being cool. If it were the Black Keys and it sounded exactly like that, people would at least be okay with it. I hope they do an album.

Summoner101: thismomentinblackhistory: Courtney Love probably deserves some credit for uniting the rest of the band and keeping them close.

By being a giant biatch?

Exactly. Also they had to stay united to make sure she didn't fark them out of money.

So this is pretty much just a Dave Grohl song, but still way better than the Beatles "reunion" song "Free as a Bird", which you could even tell Paul hated being part of because it was half baked.

Gotta give McCartney credit -he's 70 and farking rich, doesn't need to do these things, and still looks way better up there than the Rolling Stones. Maybe that's why he's still doing it, just to tweak Jagger for half a century running.
