The trick is to not rationalize them. Take a step back and laugh at the unholy union of bearded man-children and a cartoon show based on a toy for young girls.

Tax Boy: Are they full-sized cakes on the inside?

well played.
On topic, and after looking at the facebook thing page, these seem kinda... dumb. A cupcake ? Why not a small cake instead ? I dont think that these even qualify as a cupcake, if the top decoration is bigger than the cake itself ( check out the Hobbit one also ) , but then again what the frell do i know. ....

Whoa whoa whoa dude. I got nothing against bronies, but as a rebuttal to your claim: Archer.

Those aren't Doctor Who cupcakes, those are Doctor Who-themed fondants slapped onto the flattest, saddest cupcakes I've ever laid eyes on.

That would be beefcake heavily slathered in cheese, not cheesecake. And the beef would be a little stringy by normal beefcake standards. But hey, I'm not fussy.

I'm still not entirely sure why they gave the worst actor they've ever had in the new series his own show, or whether it's the BBC's idea of a mean-spirited joke that their worst actor is also the only American actor they've ever given much screen time to.

Yes. It was supposed to be a half-hour commercial for toys for little girls, but the makers of the show instead decided on making it the best cartoon show they could. So instead of it being a cartoon show for little girls, it became a cartoon show about ponies, much like Tom and Jerry was a cartoon show about a cat and mouse.

Watching the show, you don't feel like you wasted a half-hour of your life, and actually want to watch the episode again and again. Not only that, it inspires you to make a contribution to the fandom with art, music, stories or taking the fodder from the show and sending it off the rails for a giggle. What other TV show makes you want to do that?

Example: A background pony such as this:
1.bp.blogspot.com

Became this:
3.bp.blogspot.com

Which has spawned into radio plays, YouTube cartoons, shirts and even more stuff than you can imagine. And Hasbro is cool with this just as long as you don't try to make a profit off it. You think Disney would be so hip with their fans messing with their product?

Ok, i've watched this show with my three year old niece and as much as i'm a to each his own kind of guy. You guys are more than just a tad on the creeper side of the spectrum.

¿Por qué no los dos?

No, but the fact that it took so long for someone to give the right answer is very disappointing. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did at the Family Feud scene. (Granted, that's without seeing any of Season 3. I really need to get around to that.)
