RulerOfNone: LittleSmitty: lordjupiter: How farking hilarious is it that the Foxers STILL show up in every thread about how full of shiat Fox is and complain about the supposed "MSM" and how Fox is a shining beacon of truth?

Do they put mercury in Chik-fil-a or something?

Mercury AND Lead

The sweetness of the lead balances it out

Hey, say what you want about their politics, they got some damn good chicken sammiches.

True, minus the pickle. Who puts pickle on a chicken sammich.

This is actually not very surprising, considering what happened to me last week. I was going into the ER when this cop stopped me from getting to the door. He pointed up towards the roof and I saw a total stoner wearing nothing but bloodied, shredded bath towels. He was stitched up and wearing a bandage on his shoulder. I figured he was attacked by his cat after blowing smoke in its eyes one time too many and was hysterical because his insurance didn't cover his care, particularly since he kept screaming and babbling about Dr. Giggles taking his Obamacare. You can imagine my surprise when he dropped several Romney-Ryan 2012 stickers, wadded and matted with hair.

hbk72777: Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.
Pig Vomit: How can that be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what he'll say next."
Pig Vomit: Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Pig Vomit: But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next."

Now I know why FOX has the ratings it does

That is one of the primary reasons I cancelled cable. I could not stop watching those bullsh*t shows because I could not believe the vomitous bile that was spewing forth from their sucks. They just keep doubling down every minute.

That was when I knew I had a problem and just cut the cable. My life is much more pleasant now.

It was kind of like how I watched every single time Bush was on TV. His stupidity amazed me. "This guy has the nuclear football. Wow." Obama? I just zone out because competence and intelligence is boring. I know he's doing the job and whatever. ZZzzzZZZzzzzzz...

A few points:

1) "....as long as there was Obamacare, gay marriage and abortion on demand." -- This is absolutely true. He says it in a negative and condescending way, but it's absolutely true. As a person who voted for President Obama, if he abandoned any of those issues I'd be irate.

2) I've quit a couple jobs over things I felt were morally incorrect. I once quit working a really nice gig at a health insurance company. The final straw was was when a peer of mine had his heart surgery canceled by the company the evening before he was supposed to go in and get it done. I believe they hit him with some sort of "per-existing condition" nonsense. I'd imagine at least half of the IT department walked out.

Anyway, the point I'm trying to get to is that it catches me off-guard to see someone sell out their personal principles and lack any sort of empathy for others because they want a nice paycheck. I can see turning a blind-eye to things from time to time, but there are some businesses and companies that you couldn't pay a million dollars to smile at 'em.

3) Most of the American television media news is conservative, most of the American television media entertainment is liberal, almost all of the American radio media is conservative, and newspapers are dying or dead ... so who really gives a shiat.

The only thing I don't like about it is the "on demand" bit. It just conjures up images of patients telling their doctors what to do which I think crosses a line. I don't think you should be able to walk into a doctor's office and demand they perform a/an [medical procedure] on you.

It is without question that Fox News is rightwing. And the entire rest of the media is in the tank for the Democrats. The fact that Fox News is dissident news drives the MSM batty. They *thought* they had total control of the media spin until Fox news showed up.

Fox News is the most viewed News network. They have three times the viewers of any other cable news channel. They literally ARE the mainstream media. Fox. They are not dissenters, they are the industrialized mainstream news organ of our time.

I'm not surprised. Clayton Morris, co-host of Fox and Friends on the weekends, is obviously a liberal if you've ever listened to his podcast Grizzly Bear Egg Cafe. Ed Henry, who came from CNN not long ago, is also obviously a liberal. And i'm sure there are tons more at Fox who secretly supports Democrats.

It's a paycheck. You do what you have to do. I worked for an ISP years ago and we knew we had a known pedophile (dude was all over the news) as a customer, and he called up for support. And i did my job. I didn't like it, but i did it.

Well, the Republicans are the ones filling Fox's pockets, sure, but the Democrats are the ones that keep the Republicans filling Fox's pockets. Democrats not in power or at least a viable threat = no more money.

I was out shopping for bath towels when a campaign fundraiser guy started demanding I contribute to getting Romney elected, only the election was already over and Obama won. Don't you know it's over, I said, but he kept growling and tugging at my bath towels and hissing at me. Let it go, man, I said, but I think people all around me misunderstood because people were screaming and stampeding and pointing at him, and then Animal Control showed up because apparently he wasn't a republican, he was a rabid wolverine that had somehow gotten 'Romney 2012' stickers all over him and the next thing I know I'm in the hospital with shredded bath towels and needles sticking in me everywhere. It wasn't much fun.

So yeah, I can totally see this happening.

Why would you need a tug to "tow" a "line"? Seems like any competent deckhand could hump it where it needs to go.

Besides, tugs don't even "tow", they "tug". And they tug "ships" and "barges", not "lines".

This thing "tows":

HeartBurnKid: Jesse Watters waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demoncrats in the White House. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to the Amercian people were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Jesse was a talking head for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the news and he said to dad "I want to be on the news daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONCRATS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the studio of FOX he knew there were demonscrats.
"This is O'Reilly" the radio crackered. "You must fight the demoncrats!"
So Jesse gotted his microphone and blew up the minds.
"HE GOING TO KILL US" said the demoncrats
"I will yell at him" said the Obama and he fired the campaign missiles. John pundited at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the demoncrats" he shouted
The radio said "No, Jesse. You are the demoncrats"
And then Jesse was a zombie.

THEN WHO WAS PHONE?!

There's a difference between criticizing Obama based on a policy position and refering to his supporters as mindless, supernatural monsters that only exist in video games, horror films, and horror televistion shows. The latter is just attention-whoring, as Obama's critics continue to vie for the most outrageous thing to say about him and his supporters (and no one will top WND's numerous insinuations that Obama is the anti-Christ). The fact that, as a donor to the Obama campaign, the attention-whore in question might not even believe his own hyperbole, is the hilarious point.
