Just like all of Adams College started chanting Nerds! Nerds! Nerds! at the end, so too will the Fox harlots chant "Obama! Obama! Obama!"

but there's no T.V. in Libertarian paradise, i don't think... who finances that?

In Libertarian paradise TV and radio are pretty much useless since there is no governmental agency to regulate frequencies.

No no, it would be "useful" in that you could tune in to 300 channels of 24/7 commercials for Monsanto, all broadcast from a trillion-watt transmitter that drowned everything else out and gave people cancer. The government would totally step in to settle the lawsuit between you and their army of bloodthirsty vampire lawyers and hired thugs! Minarchism!

Bacon, why did you go and tell him Mitt lost? Mark12a was gearing up to go Mitt's inauguration, he gets his news from Fox and those polls told him it was a slam-dunk so he never bothered to follow up and find out who really won.

Keizer_Ghidorah: mark12A: to their Obamessiah

Also, isn't it hilarious and ironic that only Republicans keep equating Obama to God, Jesus, Muhammad, and every other deity they can think of, and then scream that Democrats are the ones doing it?

Most people I talk to that voted for Obama, and the people I see here, realize that Obama isn't perfect, and there's usually at least one policy decision that pisses them off.

I have yet to hear a single conservative highlight how Romney was a better candidate on any issue whatsoever. I hear them doing a lot of whining, as usual. The new line seems to be "Obama said or did [X]. Own it, liberals."

Meh. I'm not expecting insightful political discourse from these idiots, but does every half-formed thought and insult have to be uttered?

1 vote. Why?

So then it's a very different matter than this, isn't it? Saying you voted for someone and being someone who donated $500 shows a very different level of support.

Kittypie070: toraque: This is actually not very surprising, considering what happened to me last week. I was out shopping for bath towels when a campaign fundraiser guy started demanding I contribute to getting Romney elected, only the election was already over and Obama won. Don't you know it's over, I said, but he kept growling and tugging at my bath towels and hissing at me. Let it go, man, I said, but I think people all around me misunderstood because people were screaming and stampeding and pointing at him, and then Animal Control showed up because apparently he wasn't a republican, he was a rabid wolverine that had somehow gotten 'Romney 2012' stickers all over him and the next thing I know I'm in the hospital with shredded bath towels and needles sticking in me everywhere. It wasn't much fun.

So yeah, I can totally see this happening.

halfof33: At the $500 donor level, you were placed on certain campaign distribution lists that included information not generally disclosed to the general public, which a media organization could monitor to determine if there was anything newsworthy.

I myself have used this same tactic in local elections, and would forward the Dear Valued Doner e-mails to my guy's campaign.

Of course I did not give $500 bucks.

If Fox game him the money to make the contribution, or told him to make the contribution, they're committing a federal crime. Interesting suggestion.

browntimmy: I genuinely believe 24-hour news channels are rotting more brains than cartoons or video games ever did.

The only time I ever see 24-hour news channels is at the gym. I looked at the TV twice there this morning and the first time I saw a story about a monkey taking a sh*t in an Ikea parking lot and the second time I saw a video of a fat Korean guy smashing a miniature tank with a golf club.

There is no question whatsoever that cable news is worse than cartoons and video games. It's arguably worse than the Black Plague.

mark12A: It is without question that Fox News is rightwing. And the entire rest of the media is in the tank for the Democrats.

Since you watch Fox News so religiously, every other media outlet appears biased to you. It's an "afterbias" that only appears to Fox News viewers. They've spent so much time viewing the heavy Fox News bias that the rest of the world seems biased to them.

A similar thing happens if you stare too long at the color yellow. When you look away, the world appears blue. It's not that the world is actually blue, but just that you've spent too much time staring at yellow.

Try turning off Fox News for a couple of weeks and see if that changes your perspective.

He would have been shown a public ass on TV while Mitt would be decorated in gold and raised up under the song of angels, damned with the devil while Romney was elevated as the Holy Messiah in public theater. We could have done the same for Gary Johnson or Ron Paul, made him win by a landslide.

This doesn't surprise me. Aside from their graphics department, these people are pretty smart and don't believe one iota of the dog shiat that comes out of their mouths. Do you think they watch Fox News when they get home from work? These people are watching BBC, listening to NPR or reading the New York Times. Honestly, what's more likely? That all of these people, many of whom have Ivy League educations, are retarded? Or that they are just evil greedy sellouts?

Inside the mind of a fox viewer.

Reporter on fox calls Obama voters zombies during a typical Fox anti-Obama rant, but it turns out he donated generously to the Obama campaign.
What have you learned?

1) See? Fox really IS fair and balanced.
2) The reporter is saying things he doesn't actually believe to keep his job on Fox. aka being a liar for money.

I think my favorite correction still has to be:

An item in the Extra Bases baseball notebook last Sunday misidentified, in some editions, the origin of the name Orcrist the Goblin Cleaver, which Mets pitcher R. A. Dickey gave one of his bats. Orcrist was not, as Dickey had said, the name of the sword used by Bilbo Baggins in the Misty Mountains in "The Hobbit"; Orcrist was the sword used by the dwarf Thorin Oakenshield in the book. (Bilbo Baggins's sword was called Sting.)

Also by the NY times.
