and? how much did he give to Romney?

This is actually not very surprising, considering what happened to me last week. I was out shopping for bath towels when a campaign fundraiser guy started demanding I contribute to getting Romney elected, only the election was already over and Obama won. Don't you know it's over, I said, but he kept growling and tugging at my bath towels and hissing at me. Let it go, man, I said, but I think people all around me misunderstood because people were screaming and stampeding and pointing at him, and then Animal Control showed up because apparently he wasn't a republican, he was a rabid wolverine that had somehow gotten 'Romney 2012' stickers all over him and the next thing I know I'm in the hospital with shredded bath towels and needles sticking in me everywhere. It wasn't much fun.

So yeah, I can totally see this happening.

You're the one who killed my wolverine? He wasn't rabid, you idiot; he was allergic to adhesive! He just needed a benadryl, not a bullet in the head you over-reacting barstid.

Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.
Pig Vomit: How can that be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what he'll say next."
Pig Vomit: Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Pig Vomit: But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next."

Now I know why FOX has the ratings it does

The bit where someone was so upset about someone badmouthing obama on the tee vee that they dug up his donation records, successfully changing nobody's mind about anything.

Seems like a reasonable gratuity.

One week after the 2012 election, Fox News correspondent Jesse Watters told Bill O'Reilly that Obama voters were "zombies" who supported the president "as long as there was Obamacare, gay marriage and abortion on demand."

And we get out of Afghanistan...yeah. I'm going to support him on the other issues because no matter how bad he is (SOPA, USAPATRIOT, etc.) he can't be any worse than the Republicans.

There's a flaw in that arguement. By the time you've listened to Limbaugh, Beck, or Hannity for 18 minutes you've pretty much heard their whole spiel for the rest of the week.

At least the rest of the week.

Not everyone at Fox is hanging far to the right; there are probably plenty of Democrats in there. But like all jobs, during those 40 hours you have to tow the company line whether you agree or not. I imagine that working at Fox is a lot like this:

I've noticed a trend in writing that is really starting to irk me. Instead of "telephoning", or "calling", or "attempting to contact", or "leaving a message", everyone lately is "reaching out" for comment.

The "name" line is bothering me. It is in a larger font and also not listed IAW the form instructions (last, first, middle). It just looks altered. This seems to be a strange thing to fake, because what Fox personality didn't roast Obama supporters... why him? But it looks funny.

2012-12-11 02:40:49 PM
What will Fox keep people terrified about and glued to their TV screens if a white Republican is president? Complaining about congressional dems just doesn't give the ratings.

Whoop-di-freakin'-do. The rest of the MSM are overwhelmingly Democratic and give their contributions to the Democratic party, as well as suppress stories unfavorable to their Obamessiah.

It is without question that Fox News is rightwing. And the entire rest of the media is in the tank for the Democrats. The fact that Fox News is dissident news drives the MSM batty. They *thought* they had total control of the media spin until Fox news showed up.

Yup. They all are.

Seriously, O'Reilly, anti-gun farkwad that he is, is really a very smart guy. Harvard I believe. He could easily and honestly debate everybody on his show.

But he knows shouting and controversy gets viewers. Hell, I know more lefties that watch his show than righties so they can get mad about something.

Stop watching TV news. It's bad for you.

2012-12-11 02:46:10 PM
He probably gets paid a lot of money to be an obamahater for fox.

I might go on TV and pretend to be a team player if they paid me enough.

But secretly I would be planning their downfall.

bwahahahahaha

Look, just because you're paid to push the talking points on the right, it doesn't mean you're not smart enough to really want them to win.
