GHOST PICTURES THREAD!!!

Here's a picture I took of several ghosts in the basement. You have to look really hard to see them.

True story! My family's old house was formerly a popular brothel that served at least a couple Presidents of the United States. One afternoon while I was downstairs, I heard a noise and grabbed my camera (because I always expect ghosts instead of burglars) and this is what I saw:

SCARY picture I took of my cousins. The image in the window wasn't there when I took the picture, and showed up later when I got the pictures developed.

Finally, this is an image of a guy who saw a ghost holding a camera/phone that he used to take pictures of the ghost, but when he posed for this picture he was visited by MORE GHOSTS!!! OMG!!!!!

Do they still show the 2 guys fixing a toilet in the roto rooter uniforms and unexpectedly getting a call while coincidentally being filmed at the beginning of each episode?

Also, does the guy who has every phobia known to man, except hunting for ghosts or getting tattooed, still on the show?

////Still better than Ghost Douches...er, Adventures

I call it "Ghost Bro's"

We call them "the Lunkheads".

Going into a house and yelling, calling them "demons", is not going to give you a gracious greeting from the other side.

However, their antics amuse us.

A good friend and I invented a drinking game for Ghost Adventures...once.

One shot for a "dude", two for "dude, whoa" or "dude, bro", etc. etc. We were proper trashed about 15 minutes into the "lockdown."

That show was great for the lulz. My favorite was the big, oafish bald dude that was always getting left behind or sent into the "scarier" places all by himself.

Is it still on air?!

Yeah, Fridays on Travel Channel.

You nailed the lulz of the "Lunkheads". Poor Aaron gets the paranormal Jim Fowler treatment,

For your drinking game, add in Zack asking "Are you a demon?" and you'll cut it down to 5 minutes.

Sometimes, I think Zack yells at his own stool: "Are you a demon??"

This might help:

Nice, the ghosts in the first picture made me laugh. :P

Rufus Lee King: You skeptics go ahead and laugh at the concept of ghosts. You didn't see what I saw. I went into my kitchen, and saw three apparitions, one of which was waving its ghastly arms and chanting in a sepulchral voice:

"It floats! IT FLOOOOAAATS!"

Gathering my courage, I asked the specter "WHAT floats?"

The three spirits all turned toward me and said in unison "Ivory Soap!"

I managed to take a photo:

Those stupid shows where they spend all that time hunting ghosts and find nothing are such a waste of time. Now, on the other hand, those shows where they search for monsters...

I never understood the logic of using actual "cameramen" if you're going to produce a ghost hunting show. That means in every scene, you at least have +1 persons to account for that you cannot see (as the viewer), and thus can't, objectively, discern that "weird footstep sound over here" or "strange knock over there" is anything unexplained at all compared to "clutz camera guy taking a false step".

Yes, he is mentally unstable, even by his home state's standards (MI). Yes, he is an actor. And yes, assuming he gets back on his meds, he will play this out for all the publicity he can possibly get.

As far as I am concerned, this show is nothing more than blatant exploitation of the mentally ill.

Fear the Clam: ZeroCorpse: Anybody associated with these B.S. scam shows should feel bad.

Somewhere out there is someone who not only watched, but owns the DVDs of this show. Probably knows every episode by heart. I can't imagine how anyone can sit through more than one episode of these 'tards running around yelling "What was that!?"

On the GH forums, they originally had a large community who tried to debunk for at least 3 seasons. The GH forum admins decided that was anti-GH and explicitly warned the forum members not to debunk the show and Sci-Fi sent lawyer letters to fan sites not to use any material from the show in any way. So many people continued to post to debunk items shown in the show that the show began to increase the background music so that when show members "heard" things, the viewers could not make out what was heard and had to take Jay's, etc., word on it. They changed camera angles so you could not initially see the "shadows" that the show members saw. Sy-Fy actually skewed the show's viewership age numbers for the show after that and only teens were left to watch the show. SyFy was happy because that the audience they were looking for at the time. I guess adults think too much.

//There were a lot of people trying to sell their DVDs in forums, but few had anyone interested enough.

This is the guy who coined the "DUDE! RUN!" catchphrase. Glad to see he's getting the help that it looks like he needs.

Unfortunately, I could have seen GH milking his, ah, departure in the same manner as Grant's Cher-like Farewell Tour.
