The last person in FOX's studio that stood his ground and told FOX the truth got his microphone cut off.

Its a biased outfit full of liars and professional politicians pretending to be a news network.

The fact there's also reporters in the building who sometimes get allowed to talk is irrelevant. The people calling the shots are 100% in the tank for Republicans.

How many Democratic Presidential and/or Congressional candidates were employed by Fox News this last election cycle?

How many "grassroots" "liberal" populist movements were actively organized and promoted by Fox News?

Fox News viewers have an average IQ of 80, borderline retarded. People who have the ability to think are progressives, those who don't think, watch Fox News.

I've argued this with my parents many times, as they cite "Look, that guys is a Liberal. They have both sides.". The reason is that many of their shows use the same techniques my HS AP Government class teacher taught us on how to frame an argument.

1. Lead with a thesis.
2. State the oppositions argument.
3. Discredit that argument, lead with your counter
4. Make 2 more arguments, finishing with your strongest
5. Restate Thesis/conclusion

I don't watch Fox really, but my parents had me watch "The Five" with them once. They come back from commercial, throw out the topic of discussion, let Bob the liberal chime in with a mediocre point, and then dog pile on him.

The whole show is built to favor the four and discredit the liberal. Much like most of Fox News.

There are smart conservatives. They're the ones making money off of FOX viewers.

Whar the "liberal representatives?"

Whenever I catch Fox News on at work (which nearly every TV is tuned to all over the building), I only see the Fox News announcers interviewing Republicans, conservatives, or former members of Republican administrations.

Panel discussion with a conservative moderator, three conservative guests and one mildly-left-leaning guest. Moderator gives open-ended questions to the conservatives and allows them the lion's share of the time to respond. Moderator then asks the lib "have you stopped beating your wife yet?" and interrupts him 2 seconds into his stammering response.

Ta-dah! Fox Balance!

Like many myopic liberals, he is blind to liberal media bias and intolerant of the opposing viewpoint. As a result of their arrogance and the cloistered echo-chambered environments they inhabit, most liberals don't believe liberal journalists slant their reporting, but present the only reasonable take on the issues.

At least conservatives, both in the media and in public service, are more honest with themselves and others about their own beliefs and biases, and thus represent much less danger to the republic than liberal politicians and media masquerading as neutral, unbiased, objective or bipartisan. Even so, conservatives would never advocate chilling or suppressing liberal speech in any way.

That is a statement that can only come from the unbiased and nonpartisan point of view. If any of you need an example of textbook objectivity, this is it right here. Anything that does not agree with it is liberal myopy.

"Media" is the plural of "Medium", so "Media are" is correct.

Someone should have paid more attention in school.

Oh, sure, they do bring liberals onto their programs, but it's only to shout at them about how they're wrong and then cut their mic before they have a chance to respond.

While popular usage has "media" as a singular noun, it is properly speaking the plural of "medium". If the sucky blog is saying that none out of Fox News, Fox Business, the WSJ, the NY Post, the Washington Times, the Rush Limbaugh Show, The Sean Hannity Show, Examiner.com, RedState.com, and their own sucky blog are the problem, then using "media" as a plural is perfectly legitimate.

/unlike, say, the rest of that sentence, or their perpetual claim that there are no conservatives in the media
//when referring to "the media", however, it is generally taken to be singular

Yeah. But, some of those people "understand" Liberals, and are therefore qualified to tell everyone what Liberals are thinking or planning to do.
