coeyagi: Here is what I am perplexed about. If it was a corporate building, where execs, sales, marketing, etc were located, would I really want Fox News on my TVs?

the main reason a lot of places do it is because Fox News addicts go absolutely apoplectic when Fox News isn't being shown on a public TV. they either constantly make snide comments about the "libs" to see if anyone around agrees or will eventually go and complain until Fox News is being shown.

this is mainly for when CNN / HLN / whatever is being shown. but even if there is a completely generic channel like any broadcast network or Discovery or something... then it is complaining about not being able to stay informed with Fox News and how everyone else is missing out on information and knowledge because they are watching "Let's Make A Deal" vs. some idiot on Fox blathering nonsensically.

i have seen both instances in person several times.

in my case... if i see something on a TV i disagree with or find boring... i just ignore it and do something else. i don't feel the need to make a scene because i'm not a big whiny baby who needs his "fix".

easypray: they must be bias

Where did people learn this? Who taught you the word Bias?

You can be *biased* or you can *have a* bias. But you can't "Be Bias".

/Not just picking you specifically, but god damn if that doesn't annoy me for some reason
//like when people say "that needs fixed" or "that needs updated"
