Is this like taking pictures of food on Pintarest? I thought everyone did this as a kid, using everything they could get their hands on. Heck, I still do it as an adult.

No, no. They built the city "on" rock and roll. They used it as the bedrock for their huge mega-city of suck and forced the rock and roll to be buried under it.

Indeed. Not long ago I was in the process of collapsing and flattening out the cardboard carrier of a 4-pack of V-8 and I thought to myself it had a great profile/outline for a spaceship.
