I'm up by 12 to my opponent in our ff playoffs.

I've got Schaub tonight.
He's got Brady and Woodhead.

I'm cautiously optomistic........

Why do the lions suck so bad. I mean, wtf?

It's coaching. You put a Bill B. on that team, and they wouldn't regularly make the mistakes they do.

Can't wait for tonight. I knew it was going to be a big game when the schedule was released but I didn't think it was going to be this big. The bar down the street is starting some big thing at 2pm today. I'm going to go down there and see how many brand new Texans jerseys I can count. It's incredible the amount of "lifelong" fans that have suddenly shown up.

Thanksgiving was funny this year. House full of Texans jerseys that used to be Cowboys jerseys. Then they tried to act like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then I pulled out the photo card from last year......

On my way to foxboro: weather sucks but looking forward to a fantastic game.

Hey! He's been a fan since before they were even considered a team! Give him a break.

I was a fan when they kicked off in 02. I was living in Austin in 06 and was furious when they stopped airing Texans games locally in favor of Titans games because of Vince Young.

I remember covering Young in Austin, and telling my program director that he was a good college player, brought the school a BCS title, but he's an idiot, lazy, and would flame out in the NFL.

I'm happy to see where they are as a franchise, and I think they really need this win for that respect the fans want from the national media. Good thing it's not another SNF game, because they were awful in the last game, and a Peter King - Tom Brady suckfest would just make me go stabby.

And I'M rooting for the Texans, because if they win, Denver moves into the #2 position in the Playoffs. ^_^

Heh. I'm sure since for a time we were the Broncos 2nd squad. My snark is for the all the *cough* fans that just recently showed up. And they only irritate me cause they are the ones at games starting shiat and acting obnoxious. Just like all the other teams that have a revolving door fanbase. I root for the Broncos also (behind the Texans of course) and your pics always rock so you're good.

Huh. I did not know that. I always considered Austin and San Antonio Cowboys country.

I was an Oilers fan. I was 14 when they did that 4th QTR spectacular fail against the Bills. Pissed me off so bad I didn't watch football the following year. I went to the final game with my Dad before they moved and watched the fans throw shiat at Bud Adams when he left the Astrodome. Then there was that dark period when there was no team. You can tell who the long time fans of the Texans cause we still have that lingering dread from all the meltdowns. But yea, I'm pretty happy they are getting to be a respected team and will be for a while. At least I may finally see a Houston team in the Superb Owl before I die. And of course I'm pissed I will be in Corpus for a few months when the playoffs start. I still remember how much this city partied when the Rockets won those back to back titles. This city will go nuts if the Texans make it to the big show.

I need Brady and A.J. to have a big night. Black Superman and the rest of the Texans offense needs to suck and still pull out a win.

antidisestablishmentarianism: I need Brady and A.J. to have a big night.

It would be better for you if Gronk and Edelman were in the game for Brady to have a good game...but there's still hope. He is Tom Brady...last I checked.

This is an important game.

I'm surprised that ESPN hasn't tried to hype it up a little bit.

ugh. I have to root for the pats. can't they both lose?

2012-12-10 07:35:29 PM
As a Seahawks fan, I don't know nor care what happens since I already won my playoff game with Gostkowski and Welker still to play. Also, I honestly don't know who to pick in this one except to say that the Pats are at home in December against a dome team so I'll go with them.

2012-12-10 07:36:03 PM
Props to JJ Watt

2012-12-10 07:36:13 PM
Great match-up tonight, don't really know who to root for. Go PBR!!!!

Pats should roll these pretenders tonight. Only legit team Houston played rolled them big time.

Hmmm, yea, no.

2012-12-10 07:41:22 PM
So, if I can get a 400 yard 3 TD night from Brady and a 150 2 TD night from Andre Johnson, I may not eat the whole wheel of cheese and poop in the fridge for the first round of FF playoffs.

Hi. I'm here to comment on real sports tonight.

2012-12-10 07:44:00 PM
I have been a lifelong Bears fan, but frontrunners don't bother me that much.

Hell, I think that there are times that people should bail on their teams. Sports is one of the few things in the world where you're actually expected to accept a shiatty product. Personally, I have never bailed on my team, and it's doubtful that I would and even more doubtful that I'd pick up another team to replace it.

But, still. I understand.

2012-12-10 07:45:09 PM
My money's on Brady at home in December.

But I'm rooting for Houston, because fark the Cheatriots.

2012-12-10 07:46:05 PM
Go everyone but Brady!

All this fantasy football talk makes you look selfish. Good luck with that.

It's currently 59 in Foxboro and has been raining its ass off all day out there.
