Dr. Dilip Joseph was freed 11 hours after his captors released two other kidnapped staffers of his nonprofit agency

So the operation was unnecessary?

Thanks, Obamacare!

devilhunterx: And the world became better by 1

devilhunterx, I think it's great you're into living in Pakistan, and wanting to work in the U.S. even though you hate it. Good luck getting through customs.

Nothing to see here, folks.

kregh99: I think we need to get back to a point where the death of a member of the special ops community never makes the news.

/ knows people in the special ops community.
// they want it that way too

So why'd they let you know they're in the SpecOps community? Bit hypocritical.

doglover: The mentality of special forces isn't like WWI Draftees sent to the trenches. They work really hard to get the job. They work harder for the chance to get shot to death than most people would ever work to avoid it. They train and train and train for missions like this. It's their whole life. The specifics of the missions don't matter so much, nor do the politics. It's the challenge they're after. And, sometimes, the bear gets you. That's just how these things happen.
