I was at a beer festival once and there were some guys from Unibroue there. They had a special bottle of "Quatre-Centieme" which was brewed for the 400th anniversary of Quebec City. It was spectacular.
"I'm not a beer snob, but I know and appreciate beers, but I've never had a Belgian beer that I like. I know I'm supposed to like them, but they all seem to have an underlying sour taste. I generally like very malty British ales and German bocks."
Yeah, I don't like really hoppy beer at all. I had some supposedly "good" Peace Tree Hop Wrangler IPA and it quite literally reminded me of the taste of vomit. Couldn't handle it at all.
