Looking at the play by play... why the hell wouldn't you just let them score?  Seems like the right call to try to get the ball back.

I bet he gets mad when people run out of bounds too.

"It's something that I don't believe in, something that I didn't understand,'' Dockett said then. ''It was frustrating at the time. At the end of the day, I am never, never going to lay down and quit. I've been playing football for over 20 years. I've given this organization, I've given Florida State, I've given my high school everything I've got. I love the game. I play with passion and I'll never quit.''

well I guess SOMEONE didn't give everything to Mighty Mites OR Pop Warner football.

They found the money? Yeah, I guess they did, in their bank account, after he paid it for spitting in the face of a teammate for not being a team player and going his own way instead of complying with the team's strategy.

Lying by omission is still lying, subby.

Those are the J-E-S-T. There is no guarantee that the QB won't throw a pick 6 to a DB lying on the ground...

Nah. More like a desperate queen sacrifice to avoid imminent checkmate.

Though I wouldn't put it past the Jets to rip someone's arm off when they lose.

According to multiple media reports, the Arizona Cardinals fined defensive lineman Darnell Dockett a "six-figure" amount Friday for conduct detrimental to the team.

According to NFL.com's Albert Breer, the amount of the fine was $200,000. The NFL.com report also states that the NFL Players Association has already begun the process of filing an appeal over the fine,

Way to choke, Army! It's okay, you probably wouldn't have known what to do after you beat Navy anyway, it's been so long.

Maybe Arizona should fine their coach and front office for being poopyheads.

Wait, isn't this what the Saints got in trouble for? But in reverse?

Wiki says:
The NFL has long frowned upon bounties or "non-contract bonuses" as it officially calls them. The league constitution specifically forbids payment of bonuses based on performances against an individual player or team, as well as bonuses for on-field misconduct; the NFL holds that such practices undermine the integrity of the game, and also would allow teams to use such payments to circumvent the salary cap.

Start a rumor the coach had a friend, who had lots of money riding on the game in vegas.

\\payback would be a biatch..

Hell yeah, they're supposedly going to punish him by sitting him out some against the Seahawks.

Hey Whisenhunt, I heard it was the whole defense that told you to go f*ck yourself. And Larry Fitzgerald. Better sit 'em all.

As the Supreme Court has ruled, such a reverse position is constitutional.

Cards did a great job of letting the Seahawks score all game. No one's gonna get fined for that ever again!
