Well, it's 60 today and was 70 earlier this week here in DC, so pictures might end up being the only way I get to see snow this year.

My wife got me some prints of Bentley's snowflake for Christmas last year.

Don't remind me, we're well into December and right now it is raining outside. I remember as a kid having this thing called snow, and we had really deep snows too. Now it might snow in January if we're lucky and it rarely gets deeper than the top of your shoe.

I miss snow.

You could take my snow when it gets here.

I used to love the stuff. Now? Not a fan.

Wow those are really beautiful, good find subby! I remember reading some article a few months back that predicted a wicked cold winter this year for the whole country, but right now it's 60 degrees in VA. I wish it would snow :(

I love how they say that no 2 snowflakes are exact... I mean seriously.. is there someone that is checking EVERY single flake and recording it? and how do they know that the pattern of the flake that fell on December 10th 1905 at 2:52pm hasn't fallen again?

The headline in this repost is much more accurate.

Plus, why do people spend so much energy and get in such a flux over reposts, anyhow?

Yeah, I live in the desert in Southern California. It used to snow here once or twice a year. Last time we had snow? 1984, when I was 2 years old.

/Had to drive 3 hours away to earn my snow badge as a Girl Scout.
