That was justified. Those movies were identical (aside from production design and the ending).

Much like Highlander I, I watch it with the commentary by Mike, Servo and Crow. Purchased from rifftrax.com, if you are new to Fark and are unaware that the MST3K guys are still riffing movies. They ran out of the classic Golden Turkey movies and now they're just riffing Hollywood.
