Seriously, how hard is it to place a timer on an item in an e-cart that gives you x minutes to complete the checkout process before the item becomes unavailable.

If I am in a brick and morter store and pick an item off the shelf, I am able to walk to the register and pay for the item. Some of these websites essentially let another shopper pay for an item and when you get to the register with your cart say " I'm sorry, this person already bought it" and take it from your cart.

If it's in my cart, it's mine for 2-5 minutes. PERIOD!

/Most annoying part of online shopping.

Fab.com has a little 20 minute timer on their cart, which renews every time you add something to it.
