I'm just lazy. I listen to NPR while I commute and I red the Economist while I'm taking a dump. I don't own a TV and when I'm in front of a computer my only news source is Fark. When someone inevitably posts a picture or makes a joke that I don't get I don't bother looking it up. I just assume the person is crazy and move on.
