I thought we were flooding the internet with Gangnam Style now. And even that's fading. We need a new pop song to make fun of.

I really did submit that with a funnier tagline. Specifically, "Hipsters Rejoice!! Gotye (acapella) 1+"

Perhaps my biggest issue with this song is simply the lack of distinction between "that" and "who."

/Somebody WHO I used to know

Do you think "somebody [x] I used to know" requires the objective? I suppose it would, but I kind of view it as nonspecific.

Is it 'a capella' with a beat track and percussion enhancement?

Is it still a capella if it's heavily mixed and processed?

Much of the irony was lost from an unimaginative admin altering it, I feel

Perhaps my biggest issue with this thread is simply that subby is doesn't know what "a capella" farking means.

Do you think they can still make the same noises without all the facial expressions and spastic body movements? I think I would like that better.

lohphat: Is it still a capella if it's heavily mixed and processed?

No.

It's obvious that the video was not a performance. That track was way over produced and had so much digital modification that there is no way it could be called A capella.

A capella=Without head. I saw no one getting head, so it's technically a capella.
