It doesn't matter, because her audience isn't going to read HuffPo or MM and find this out. They'll take what she said as gospel truth.

Laura Ingraham, so evil that she had breast cancer and the cancer said "fark this, I'm outta here. This place is scary."

Isn't MSM the acronym for Main Stream Media? So the headline is "Main Stream Media Media"?

Stoopid fox news anyway.

The cognitive dissonance, it is strong. Of course, we as rational-thinking Americans have come to expect this crap from large segments of the right, so this is far from shocking.

FTA One of Ingraham's producers later defended the newsletter in an email to Media Matters. The producer said that the newsletter had been written by staffers, not Ingraham herself, and claimed that she met with President Bush under circumstances "quite different" than those of Obama's meeting on Monday.

And by "quite different" you mean "it's not bad when we do it" and/or "Bush is a Republican".

Fox should be forgiven. After all, it's not as though they have ever been in touch with reality.
Their motto is "Fair and Balanced", not truthful, real or insightful.

Bingo, you nailed it. Reminds me of political arguments I got into with an old friend's mom, a die-hard Tea Party fanatic, on Facebook during the election season. She kept posting pictures or videos of Obama doing something like changing his manner of speaking to pander to a younger, urban audience or other things she didn't like, and claiming that it was "shocking" or "disgusting" or otherwise bashing him for it. I'd counter by posting a picture or video of Romney doing the exact same thing as a comment to her post with the caption, "It's only bad when the other side does it!" The day after the election she posted a snide comment on my Wall and unfriended me. Heh.

To be fair, does anybody believe that Bush talked policy with Hannity? Maybe they talked about golf or their favorite episodes of 24, but foreign or domestic policy? I don't believe it.

Bush really needed their help, but Obama is a PROFESSOR and should be smart enough to go without help.

Laura Ingraham is the most loathsome coont in the right wing mainstream.

For those not in the know, during her time at Dartmouth, she secretly taped multiple members of a gay student group at their meetings on campus for her shiatty conservative rag (then sent transcripts of these meetings to the students' parents) and went out of her way to avoid places that had gay people working or eating. All this, and she has a gay brother. Hateful.... Coont.

But she did apologize for being a hateful coont at least. Yet she is still against ENDA, DADT repeal, marriage equality, and gay adoption. That last one is especially funny because her logic is probably "all children deserve a mother and a father." This coming from the single mother who adopted three kids. fark her.

2012-12-06 09:42:52 PM
And as others have pointed out, her mouthbreaher fans will never know, remember, or even see this as hipocrisy even if they DID remember those meetings or hear about this.

Republicans, doesn't it bother you that your heroes are all such lying sacks?

The only thing that will surprise me is if their followers finally 'get it' that the power elite in the GOP only care about their power even at the expense of their own party members.
