10 children? I swear there needs to be a 2 children limitation law starting now - after 2 kids, the biatch gets her tubes tied or the guy gets his tube tied. There's too many people in this world. Maximum density has been reached people.

Asshat parents like these outta be branded with 'i'm an asshat' accross their foreheads. The kids outta be placed with loving families that can't have kids or something. Re-farking-diculous

10 different kids by 10 different men,
History repeats itself again.

five boys, three girls, and two infants

Infants. The new gender.

"Your punishment for leaving your poor little children without a mother is that your poor little children will be deprived further of their mother, but by the state, so that's OK. Or something."

10 kids and she's only 30???

Damn, busy busy.

2003-12-07 06:29:45 PM
The definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly expecting different results.

10 kids with 10 different men.

Nuff said.

2003-12-07 06:51:22 PM
I guess she was going for a collection.

2003-12-07 07:02:19 PM
This may sound a bit extreme, but we need to adopt some law like China has with the "one kid" -- except, raise it a bit.

Here's a clue, honey: STOP fark!NG!

Never learned how to hold an orange between her knees, I s'pose

The oldest is 14 - surprising because I would have thought she would have started sooner than 16 - that's almost normal.

2003-12-07 08:31:53 PM
I don't see anything about a mother in the article.

2003-12-07 08:32:47 PM
Where does the article mention that the mother is 30 years old (or even exists)?

2003-12-07 08:33:06 PM
this should've been titled minority report. She must've been raking in the welfare dough. I wonder if Al Shapton knows where his kids are?

2003-12-07 08:33:21 PM
Father not mentioned either.

2003-12-07 08:36:50 PM
Can you say "CRACK"?

2003-12-07 08:38:06 PM
...as far as I can tell, they are born pregnant...

forget al sharpton... i'll bet a few of the kids are jesse jackson's.

Nothing about the mother being 30. Nothing about any charges..

Here's a hint, guys.. the whole point of Fark is that "It's funny because it's true." Making up completely false headlines in order to trick people into reading otherwise mundane articles is a waste of time.

I have a pet theory that the average IQ in the U.S. is slowly going down. Specifically due to shiat like this. Trashy smelly cow women have shiatloads of kids, while the intelligencia tend to limit themselves to one or two. Hell, if you have more than two kids, you'd either have to be either farking crazy or farking stupid.

2003-12-07 08:41:19 PM
condoms are much cheaper and less pain in the arse than 10 kids

2003-12-07 08:41:21 PM
That's it! we need to pump more money into welfare.

2003-12-07 08:44:18 PM
Nothing mentioned in the article about the mother's age or the father(s). It's reasonable to have some opinions about the kind of woman that leaves her kids like this, but do we know she was on welfare or that there were 10 different fathers?

OF COURSE SHE'S RAKING IT IN! DUH!!! ODDS ARE SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER HALF OF THE DADS!!! CAN ANYONE SAY W.I.C.S.? CAN YOU SAY "OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK" SO THIS BIATCH CAN SQUEEZE 'EM OUT FASTER THAN THE GOVERNMENT CAN COUNT 'EM? TIME FOR A TUBE-TYING PARTY OR THE BUCKS STOP HERE!

2003-12-07 08:46:45 PM
Yes, she must be raking it in on government assistance. So much that I'm sure she busted that poverty line by at least a hundred bucks.

I see your point Legato. My sister and her husband (both disgustingly beautiful) decided to stop after having one child, and my husband (college professor) and I (Master's student) do not want any.

Kinda like reverse Darwinism. Weird.

2003-12-07 08:47:42 PM
The mother left the kids alone for four days. So what? There was a 14 year old to watch them...

If this had gone on for a minimum of a week, I would recommend worrying...

It's the 10 kids that's the problem.

stupid biatch.

30 year old mother leaves her ten children home alone for four days - jailarity expected to ensue

Sometimes I wonder if article posters ever read the threads. I haven't seen anyone in support of the jailarity cliche; rather, lots of farkers seem to hate it with a passion.

I have a pet theory that the average IQ in the U.S. is slowly going down

I have to agree with you on that. Why just the other day I had a 7th grade student test at 3rd grade level, but it was argued that they didnt require any special accomodations because it wasnt that much a discrepency from the national average (based on IQ)

I have a pet theory that forcing teachers to teach to standardized testing is lowering the IQ in the US, instead of allowing teachers to spend class time helping enhance their student's critical thinking skills.

2003-12-07 08:50:44 PM
What's the big deal? The 14yo girl who was taking care of the kids is about the same age (give or take a year) as the mother probably was when she had her.

/sarcasm

I'm not normally too keen on forced sterilization, but this lady needs her tubes tied BADLY.

2003-12-07 08:55:50 PM
I know! Let's all villanize the poor! Middle class ignorance is so cool.

2003-12-07 08:58:13 PM
Villanize the poor? I AM the poor and think she was an idiot.

2003-12-07 08:58:34 PM
sukiari ...tubes tied BADLY

you mean like so as to leave a scar?

2003-12-07 09:00:56 PM
I'm all for manditory sterilization of career welfare riders. After your second kid, continuing benefits = tubes tied, or maybe Norplant. Now, if you can pay for 30 kids without a chunk of my paycheck, I really don't care. Your uterus will probably fall out, but that is also your own business.

Our system encourages the least useful to breed the most. Big Gub'mint types call this compassion. I call it a good reason for a second American Revolution.

2003-12-07 09:02:06 PM
no benefits after 2 kids. period.

2003-12-07 09:02:31 PM
wow. judging by the responses in this thread, Bush could gain a lot of support from the implementation of a eugenics program that would violate at least 1/4 of the constitution. We should call Karl Rove.

2003-12-07 09:04:05 PM
30 years old, 10 kids, oldest 14 years old, youngest 1 year old...

*does some math*

Yep. So she got started at age 16 and has been pregnant pretty much ever since.

2003-12-07 09:07:00 PM
mutilato
imagine what the dems would have to say about that.

2003-12-07 09:09:57 PM
1/4 of the constitution

Sir,

One could easily argue that welfare is unconstitutional.

"Single Father of 10 leaves kids home alone for four days"

So now I've made up my own headline for this article. Now you guys can talk shiat about the fictional father as well ;)

The article actually says nothing about the parents at all. No ages, and no indication as to whether or not it's a single or a multi parent family. And no indication that they are getting government aid. My mother is from an 11 child family, and they never had a problem or needed government help.

And hell, at 14, I would take care of my younger brothers for various reasons. My mom had to fly to New York once for a weekend, and at 14, 9, and 7 the three of us managed just fine for 3 days without her.

All in all, except for a large family -- which is uncommon now but used to be quite normal -- I don't much see the point of this article.

How so?

2003-12-07 09:16:33 PM
-The article doesn't mention the mother's age, where did you get that, poster?

2003-12-07 09:17:24 PM
One could easily argue that welfare is unconstitutional.

Give it a shot. Because I'm fairly sure the constitution can withstand welfare better than it can forcible sterilization predicated on intelligence or wealth.

Too bad nothing too bad happened here. It probably woulda been better off to put the kids out of their misery. How good of a life do you think they'd have if their mother is having kids to make money off of them. Do you really think they're going to be instilled with good virtues and habits at all? No, they're all gonna try this same thing when they're able to. C'mon, Yellowstone caldera, I'm waiting...
