Came to make fun of Fireman Ed, but not a bit surprised the world's greatest (and second-most popular) sport was conveniently forgotten.

This game had some great images. Surprised none of them are on this list.

- the photo of Phelps was retarded. A shot from a photo shoot? Lame.

- If you're only going to include two hockey photos, why not one of the LA Kings holding the Stanley Cup?

- No photo from Manchester City's historic and fairytale Premier League title win against QPR?

- Similarly no photo of Didier Drogba putting home the Champion's League winning penalty kick?

The Third Man: That was such a great game for the Windies. And I'm a Sri Lanka fan. I didn't care at all that my Trinidadian friend messaged me to brag about it, it was such an overwhelming final.

I almost had a heart attack watching it, but I would have been OK with Sri Lanka winning too, Kulasekara et al. worked their asses off. And the Windies beatdown of Australia made the tournament a success anyway.

I enjoyed the classic bizarre cricket moment in the India-SA match, when India were eliminated in the course of winning the game. The looks on their faces...

What is the significance of this picture

Game 1. Flyers came back from 0-3 to win 4-3 in OT.
Game 2. Flyers came back from 0-2 to win 8-5, including hat tricks by Giroux and Couturier.
Game 3. A sunday. An Afternoon game. The flyers had absolutely terrible records on both sunday games and afternoon games. Flyers win 8-4. An absolute dirty hit by Neal on the star rookie Sean Couturier alights the series anew as entire lines go at each other.

The penguins were able to play dirtier, but when confronted, collapsed like the little biatches they are.

After the game, Sidney Crosby was asked why he acted like such a biatch. His response, and I quote, "I don't like the Flyers. I don't like anyone on their team."

The next two games things took a sharp turn. The penguins won two in a row, including a 10-3 pounding.

That wasn't going to last long.

Game 6.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tit_fbYnmLc

Within 31 seconds of opening faceoff, NHL superstar Claude Giroux had knocked Sid the Kid Crosby on his ass, and scored a goal, setting the pace for the game.

A dejected Penguins never could muster the grit to continue. With 19,000 Flyers fans in attendance all chanting "You can't beat us", the above picture was taken.

I got to go to two of the games in the series. Best hockey memories ever.

Yes, there were some lame ones, but there were also some absolutely spectacular ones... that was an enjoyable gallery. Needed more NFL, though.

Yeah, there seemed to be an almost deliberate anti-NFL vibe to that gallery. That picture and the Brandon Lloyd touchdown were better than most of that list.

/#13? REALLY? I could've taken that shot with my cell phone while completely hammered.

Agree that that was better than half of those.

BTW, the Melky Cabrera one, really? Dude posing on the field with his HR Derby Champ trophy? There was nothing to that photo at all. No special moment (someone wins it every year, and it's something that has zero importance, even to baseball), no interesting framing, nothing.
