I think the shooter's farking CRAZY. It wasn't self defense because in the events described, she hit the brakes to avoid his wheelchair, and he rolled over to her car to shoot her. That's premeditated.

Should an old and infirmed man in a wheelchair have a handgun? Absolutely.

But at some point, the person becomes incompetent to properly wield the weapon. I fear that despite how terrible this incident was, we won't truly address the real issue: old people get incompetent and we don't do anything about it.

They're not sure if it was a wheelchair. In one part of the article they say it was a wheelchair. In a different part they say it was another vehicle.

They said nothing about him rolling over to her or about her hitting brakes to avoid his vehicle or wheelchair or whatever the heck was going on.
