Felix Baumgartner is no true hero. He chickened out and left mid-project for a year. Totally pussed out. Even Kittinger was disappoint. They should have let the backup dude go but I guess the already blew most of the budget on the custom suit for Felix. Lame.

Those are powerful images alright - powerful reminders of how craven, hateful, and selfish we humans can be. If humanity had any sense of decency, we'd look on most of these images and be ashamed of ourselves.

It's always interesting to see these extremes. Riot police using great restraint with some pissed-off dude because Greece f*cked their economy up. Then switch to outright blatant police brutality in Israel. Then switch to yet *another* law enforcement officer (I'm guessing) comforting some poor saps that are getting sent back to some really shiatty circumstances. And it seems to vary even within individual countries.

People be crazy & shiat, yo.
