Englebert Slaptyback: tjsands1118hopes of our society ever having a refined pallet. You don't get to complain about anyone's palate until you learn how to spell 'palate'.
Cinaed: Yelp is, usually, a waste. The star system is a mess. The commentary is, at times, marginally helpful.I mean... what the fark is going on with someone's rating of 1 or 2 stars for a place then turn around and say the food was delicious?
syberpud: Englebert Slaptyback: tjsands1118hopes of our society ever having a refined pallet. You don't get to complain about anyone's palate until you learn how to spell 'palate'.No society has a refined palate - because like all things "hip", the followers of hip will move the goalpost and declare whatever the masses like as un-refined.
Treygreen13: Fark you, Yelper! My favorite: "I ordered the broiled crab cakes and they were really good and i called and asked if i could speak to the supervisor and the girl that asnswerd the phone wanted to know what it was in reference to and I told her it was regarding the food i ordered and and she said what was wrong with it and i said nothing i just wanted to let him or her know that it was good and then she was like ok hold on. When the manager got on the phone and i thanked him and let him know it was good he said thank you and you welcome but seemed like he was in a rush. I don't think i will be eating their anymore because if the manager is not nice then what does that say about the business they are running and the people in it.1-star review of Stratford Diner by Dalia B."Any Yelp review you read should be taken with a grain of salt. Some people just can't write a review without focusing on one issue and giving out 1 star because of it.
tjsands1118: pute kisses like a man: yelp: ensuring shiat restaurants get business... while helping to ensure no one eats anywhere nice./ i only use yelp by accident, when googling a restaurant to get an address/phone number/menu when the restaurant does not have a website.// reading user comments may be the most unreliable source of information on earth. you get what you pay for... if you pick a restaurant based on yelp users, you might as well eat at applebee's/// an example of how bad most people's tastes are: go to a fark food thread, pick anyone recipe at random. 9/10 it's campbell's soup and canned vegetables in a caserole and everyone's sucking each other's dicks over it. /// 1/10 of the time, some one actually provides something good. why i continue farking and maintaining hope for humanity... 1/10 of the timeThis I work in a sushi restaurant, we have a dollar night, it's all the end leftover, small cuts, and a cheaper grade of tuna; we pre roll maki and rice balls. It is the McDonald's equivalent of sushi. We regularly have a line around the building and people raving about how great it is. I know it's shiat, I made it, but people will constantly tell anyone who listen about how it's amazing and such a great price, like they were a freaking foodie dinning at a Michelin star restaurant. It helps my paycheck, but it's really discourage me in hopes of our society ever having a refined pallet.
FinFangFark: Usually here in Houston if you look at the Chinese restaurant reviews, there are always complaints that they serve their sodas single serving in a can,
