Source4leko: As an American, I honestly couldn't give a shiat less about any royal family unless they are giving up their 'birthright' and getting actual jobs to work for their livings like the rest of us. How did they not get ousted with the rest of their inbred cousins on the continent again?

Given we in the UK get news reports that the US president has bought a new dog or pardoned a turkey, you can shut your whore mouth.

Source4leko: irthright to rule over anyone.

Aww, cute little idiot thinks that the constitutional monarch in England rules over people. I'm curious, who did you think David Cameron was? The Queen's boy toy?

I'm not going to go full length on this again, but there are numerous benefits to separating the roles of Head of State and Head of Government (which is why a lot of countries with no monarch have both a President (HoS) and prime Minister (HoG)). Not to mention that the monarchy brings in a lot of tourist money, and the lands that would otherwise belong to Elizabeth Windsor, private citizen, are fairly profitable attractions in themselves. They generate a lot more money for the British government than the cost, why wouldn't they keep them around?

Sane people don't have a problem with Constituional Monarchies. Absolute Monarchies or dictatorships? Yeah, those are problematic. But when you're railing against the Queen of England, you're barking up the wrong tree.

I just don't understand how anyone finds those moronic morning radio show people funny. Yet another reason my radio is pretty much permanently tuned to NPR.

Otherwise know as Radio Hanoi. NPR loves to spin stories as much as possible. The only reason I still listen to them is the Saturday night Music shows.
/Thistle & Shamrock , Bluegrass Breakdown, A Prairie Home Companion, Et Cetera.

Let me guess- Fox News is too liberal for you?

Nice guess, but no dice. I am in the camp of "FARK the politics and the little snowflake mentality, grow some thicker skin about your so-called issues and shut up already". I don't care about how the feelings of one group or another might get hurt because they aren't specifically pandered to. I don't trust ANY news casting in the U.S. of whinyness. The media corporations as a whole rely on "Spinning" stories to excite unrest in different groups. It's how they get paid. "Liberal" and "Conservative" are merely labels used to identify the flavor of the spin on the story. And I have reached the point where the flavors are all just crap.
So, no. FOX is not "Too Liberal". It's just another pole of a monetary motor, cranking out cash it the best way it can.

/This country needs a reboot.

By loading all the over-opinionated blowhard puritan citizenry onto a ship and telling them to GTFO. Kinda damned the whole planet with that action.

No, that's not right. You're supposed to say, "And Prince Charles is Harry's real father", implying that you're saying something that isn't true, just like William is a ---you know what, never mind. It's probably out of your reach.

Magorn: Mangoose: How bad can morning sickness get? I have never heard of someone staying at a hospital for it. She must be a) one sick mama or b) one frail little biddy.

BAD. My oldest sis was on an IV for her second kid because of it, and the next oldest was ordered onto complete bedrest at 3 months because of how it hit her (both medical professionals BTW, so it drove them crazy because they knew it normally wasn;t like that)

Oddly both stopped thier respective family creation after two kids each.

Yeah, I've been learned on this one. My first thought was "ew. what a spoiled little princess" but I have since reversed that to my default of "I'm an idiot that doesn't know"

Fair enough, but, what do you think the odds that she actually has that are?

Pretty good.

Kate is not a princess of her own accord -- she's a Duchess.

However, it would be proper to call her "Princess William" as the spouse of Prince William.
