CSB time: Something very similar happened to me a few years back. I was on a flight cross-country and offered up my exit row seat to a guy behind me who obviously needed the legroom far more than I did. I don't follow basketball so I had no idea who he was, but it turned out he was a top college player who would be drafted in the first round later that year.

The flight still wasn't very comfortable for him, though. People kept coming up to him and saying "Kevin! Kevin! Is that really czetie from Fark sitting behind you?".

Sass-O-Rev: Nope, not a troll. Just Canadian.

You were unaware these artists were American? You should know we don't say goofy ass "zed".

I was at a hotel bar talking to a guy for almost ten minutes before I realized he was Kirk Herbstreit.

I was backstage at a metal concert talking to the singer from Gwar for about half an hour and had no idea who he was until a friend mentioned it afterward. Really cool guy, I like to think that he talked to me because I didn't go all fan-boy crazy on him.

Did you notice his costume?

Sass-O-Rev: I don't listen to his music, and don't watch the entertainment news on tv very often, so I've only seen his name in print. I have always thought of him as "Jay Zed" (kinda like Zed Zed Top). Came as a shock to hear him introduce himself as "Jay Zee."

WTF am I reading?

/Since when is ZZ Top not Zee Zee?
//did I just get trolled?
