Ted Nugent turned into Harry Reid? I thought only Reid raped babies.

That happened in 1990 - it's time to move on and stop demanding questions.

You should because it's stupid:

See those tiniest slivers on the right there. Those are what you are talking about. You can never get about 1.5 trillion from 500 billion. People don't understand that the things the GOP are asking to cut are the tiniest parts of the budget.

This myth of the non-taxpayer won't go away. There is not an adult alive in this country that does not pay any taxes whatsoever. That's not a good thing, either. Trying to increase people's taxes so that they have more "skin in the game" is just lazy, yet tyrannical, thinking.

shotglasss: Taxing the poor is not a bad idea, a small amount like 2% would bring in billions of dollars that Obama wants to desperately to spend on vacations to get the First Beast out of town so that he can eat like a man instead of the cuck she has turned him into.

Revoking voting for those on welfare is fine if they've been on gubmint checks for more than a year. Once they get off my dime they can vote again.

Does that apply to the Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid? I'd love to see what would happen to the GOP if you strip voting rights from seniors and the Hoverround brigade.

Yeah, that 3.6% on everything over $250,000 like they used to pay is just tyranny. Opposing it with every breath is certainly worth throwing us into a recession over and taking the US credit rating into the shiatter.

2012-12-04 06:27:54 PM
How does anyone think they can "tax the poor"? Tax WHAT? If they have no income, there's no income to tax. If they're making below poverty level, the graduated income tax we all pay doesn't ALLOW them to be taxed. People on disability, unemployment and social security cannot be taxed. What exactly do these cretins want to "tax"?

And even if the tax laws were changed so everyone had to pay taxes--again, what are you going to tax? Someone who makes $24,000 a year, if you taxed them at 5%, you'd get a whopping $1200 out of him. However, that would also be $1200 he couldn't spend on the economy--you know, food, clothing, gas--so that's money out of the commerce stream. People not buying stuff is what contributes to recession, not people not paying taxes. We need poor people buying stuff, not paying crippling taxes.

I'm not much of an economist, but even I know that if poor people give all their money to the government, the government winds up having to support them.

In his defense, his misanthropic, hateful, economy-collapsing proposal is among the sounder financial plans I've heard from anyone on the right this year.

It would certainly reduce the size of the federal government, and the boom in the street-corpse-removal industry would probably knock a point or two off the unemployment numbers.

It does have concrete information, a strong point compared to other GOP-offered plans, all of which basically come down to "nah gunna do it."

OOOOH! Look at me! I went on a Eurail trip and saw all the historic preserved European downtowns while ignoring their poor suburbs so that makes me an expert on all of the countries that I went to because there is no way class and racial divisions in other countries could differ from America!!

Not to mention that it would allow rapid expansion of the pet food and leather goods industries. We could even export low-cost meat products to developing countries for an extra profit.
