To be fair, proper etiquette usually dictates that a person read the article prior to the comments*

*does not apply to any headlines with the words "hot, cute, sexy, etc." and any word for female.

I know why these idiots use PED's, but why, in this day and age, do they think they can get away with it without being caught if they insist on using them in the cheapest, easiest way possible? Or do they need to go to Lance Armstrong for the Ph.D. course in using PED's?

It's a shame too because he had a good game last night. I bet there's good reason he suddenly starting playing so well.

A lot of them are being stupid by using unapproved supplements, that is a huge mistake since some are mixed with ingredients that will elevate testosterone levels a lot higher giving the appearance of doping.

Subby is a jerk--RG3 is my FF quarterback and I just rose to first place on the back of a 5-win streak. My eyes popped open and I screamed "WHAT THE fark!!" in my head.

So, of course, subby also earned one hearty golf clap.

2012-12-05 06:37:46 AM
Seriously, I hope RG3 turns out to be as good as advertised. In-part because it may mean multiple elite QBs come out of this draft, but also, especially, because it would be a huge slap in the face to Michael Vick, the man who was labeled the football messiah, and a slap to ESPN and various entities that tried, for years and years and years, to convince us that Vick was anything other than a great athlete who happened to be a quarterback.

RG3 took incredible physical ability and has made himself into a guy who may become a great NFL quarterback. Vick has an arm that's just as strong, and he's just as fast (quicker than RG3, I'd say, at least in his early years), but he couldn't dream of being as accurate as RG3. And, from everything I see, RG3 has his head on his shoulders. Let's just hope it doesn't get knocked OFF of his shoulders, or we may actually see that "sport-changing quarterback" that we had shoved down our throats for years. The sad thing is, there's already enough talk about the NFC East, so it won't help that Washington is back on the radar.

/yes, I know this article isn't about RG3, but who cares about that other guy?

He could've been at the 2012 Olympics and nearly medaled just based on his college freshman track times. Jack Demps won silver this year and signed with New England afterwards. It'd be pretty hilarious if RG3 somehow managed to get on the 2016 team during the summer...maybe the NFL can hire Gary Bettman as Commish so we can set our clocks by the lockouts.

With Darth Hoodie,. I'm pretty sure that's "Injured" Reserve. Training for track has got to be fairly different than training for football, and there's not that much time after the Olympics to switch gears and bulk up for the season. I imagine he'll be pretty scary next year as a deep threat, assuming he has hands.

This has seemed to be a pretty common theory and interesting if true. I just don't like coming close to mentioning it lest the butt-hurt anti-Belichickers overrun a discussion with "He cheats! He's a cheater! Filming!...." yada yada yada

Nice to know you prioritize hair styles over talent, intellect, and discipline. At least it makes it easy to identifiy your other statements/arguments as being equally...well conceived.

No, they're braids. People call them dreadlocks because they don't know sh*t and it makes it sound a lot less lame

RGIII himself: "I don't have dreads. My hair is braided off the scalp."

My mistake then. Never paid much attention to his hair and just figured that it was dreaded. But still you blow past his playing abilities and his seemingly good nature and claim his hair his the only reason you dislike him. Hmmm.

False, I acknowledge all of those and say that if he wants to get respect he has to not have the haircut of a 9-year-old girl. Just like I'd lose respect for any grown man wearing cornrows (this isn't the '90s; you look like an idiot) or pigtails (again, little girl hair). Luck needs to shave his awful neckbeard, too, FWIW.

All the guys with long hair should cut it. I laugh every time I hear about a hair-tackle. Serves them right for looking goofy.

But that's all it is--looking goofy. If they're good, then fine by me, I guess. Same with all the tattoos--it just looks goofy and dirty.
